Is there a limit on file size transfers?
I recently tried to transfer a 200MB MPG Video file called "Lloro Por Barbara.Mp3" into my phone's 4GB storage card using ActiveSync. The process would begin, the upload bars would go about a quarter of the way, and then would start over. Any reasons why it wouldn't complete the transfer? According to the phone, nothing was actually transferred because the folder I created on the phone remains empty. Yet I didn't experience any problems when transfering 80+MB of mp3s. What's the problem?
Also, is there a way to play DIVX videos on the HTC Mogul? |

When you were uploading to your device, did the progress bar stop about midway and start again from the beginning? That's what I experienced when I tried transfering a 200mb mpg. It did it like 3 times before I decided to just cancel, assuming that it wasn't going to work. Also when you connect your phone, does ActiveSync try to synchronize with your Outlook? Mine does even thought I don't have Outlook installed, so I just click Stop and then click Explore to do my file transfers over the phone. When I'm done, I just disconnect the phone from the computer. Is this the correct procedure for doing things? Thanks a bunch! |
