New Radio for Touch Released ?
 

Hi Dash....this ones for you because I know you got the answers :)

I found this thread on the PPC website and they are talking about some "new" sprint radio / verizon radio...and that OMJ might release a new ROM that will include it?? Is this something I dont have ? I just flash last week to your latest ROM...

ummm bro the omj rom is alredy here!!!!!! look in the rom section from the side menu for it...... it does have the new radio built into it.... i get them early through omj since we go wayyyyy back and have done many trades on top of that..... so take a look there and it will be dated 6-26-08. in the future please search before posting.....

If I upgraded to the OMJ ROM around 6/10/08...would that include the latest radio available?

I have 2 questions:

1) What are the benefits of this new ROM / Radio upgrade compared to the version available earlier in June?

2) Is there a way to save all my programs and settings (using some sort of backup utility) so that I can restore everything quickly after the ROM update?

1. read through the official vogue update thread for the details on the changes im not gonna take everything from that thread and type it here.

2. no as said many times in the past you cannot run a backup from a different rom onto another..... it WILL cause conflicts and the flash will be useless because it will revert the registry back to the old rom.
