MY Touch is Frozen at startup screen
 

Help I dont know what to do My Touch is frozen everytime I get to the startup screen, I take the battery out but still its frozen, what can I do?

first of all it would have helped if you searched first since this has been discussed and solved many times....... what rom did you flash to first of all....... i need to know that to know how to help you with the problem.

u probably flashed a rom without a radio and if that is the case then you would have to put the fone back n bootloader mode and flash either the alltel or new official sprint 3.03/3.42 rom and then flash the rom u originally selected if u want.

hey, I have the same problem!! okay I used "vogue unlocker"....I THINK that I messed up when I was supposed to drag and drop the rom file into the ruu folder. The rom was KAOS touch hybrid take 1....but i dont think i was ever able 2 completely flash it over. my phone now is just stuck on the startup screen so i cant connect to activesync. If someone can help in any way I would greatly appreciate it.

yea. Thats what I was doing. I was using the unlocker and after i disconnected and reconnected the usb, the program said it was "relocking" and now my phone is stuck at the startup screen. I dont think that I actually flashed the phone. the RUU program started and if i'm right, it started without the .nbh file, but i could be wrong.

alright...well how can i flash the radio if my phone is stuck at startup and cannot connect to my pc?

Try a hard reset 1st and see if you can get it back up and running

well flash from sd card....like i said read the thread...second post i believe has radio and detailed instructions on how o flash via sd...for rom and radio....

Do what Kaos says he knows his shit. Just read the guides. I know it will be asked so I will put it out there now make sure you format your sd card to a fat32

its really easy to do folllow these steps.

1. take a sd card 2 gb or less
2. take all important files and drag to desktop
3. take the card and insert it into your computer and right click and choose format card. than choose FAT32.
4. take the radio file that you download and rename it to TITAIMG.nbh
5. place the card in your phone
6. hold the power button and camera button down while soft resetting with the stylus
7. follow the steps on the screen
8. when it says successful/complete do another soft reset and than you will be all set to go :>

be sure to take the battery out for a minute and hard reset after the flash :>

okay...i used the sd card (1gig formatted to fat 32) method. i loaded the nbh file that came with cokemans unlocker...and went to the bootleader screen. it went to a white screen that says loading, it has been that way for about 20 minutes

okay..the radio file, i need to download that. where can i find that link. its a vogue would it be VOGUIMG.NBH or still titaimg.nbh?

oh shit you have a vogue... damn thats why it sat there..... voguimg.nbh for both the radio and the rom.

its all good...where can i find the radio to download at?? i think i just need to get back 2 the stock rom, all this shit is givin me a headache i should have never started 2 f*** with it i didnt know what i was doing.

didnt work. a loading screen came up 4 a bout a half second...then went back 2 the tri color screen.
it says
VOGU100
SPL-0.36.0000
CPLD-3
thats what it has been saying maybe that will help.

okay...redid it... now in loading... screen. how long should it be in that screen??

not long it should tell you to press the power button if you have the file the right name...... VOGUIMG.nbh ............ make sure you use the caps

it didnt work...it stayed on the loading screen for 2 days. GOOD NEWS DOE.... verizon sent me a replacement yesterday. for free. lost all my contacts in the process.
i did learn a lesson...next time i'll take the time to learn more about this..and what im doing before i try to mess with it again.. I PRECIATE ALL THE HELP THOUGH...

damn was bout to say that might be fixable and if they didnt want it back send it my way and we will see what wee can do..... but o'well and hopefully next time you will be all good.
