Requirements: WM5/6/6.1, HTC Devices, Please report back whether it works on non-htc devices.
Overview: Ephemeris data is passed thru WiFi or cellular data connection ahead of time, and you never have to wait for it to download over the satellite which makes it a lot quicket to get a GPS fix.

Yes, I got this error as well "Connection failed. Please try again later."; I tried to do this when not connected via activesync, and tried to do it as well when connected via activesync and got the same problem as well..I have the HTC Touch (Vogue), any ideas why this does not work?

it works on all htc devices so make sure you have a open data end or wifi signal and also make sure your com port is open and try to use with google maps or summtin

Just tried to use Google Maps as a buffer and still no go; it gets up to 77% and then I get that error, seems like the same thing is happening for others.

yeah i got it to load all the way at home as a test but now that i try at work it isnt working.... mmmm will have to look into this. and bro no need to triple post there is an edit button ofr a reason.

i got the same error message.

Edit: D/\SH - I found a version on my phone that is named "QuickGPS with patch.zip" After installing this your posted file, i ran the quickgps.exe file within that zip and it worked. I would be happy to post it but to be honest, i'm not sure how.

I ran a search in Resco, couldnt find the .zip. Where did you find it?

Yes, I downloaded the file in the 1st post, it's the same program that was posted before-where can one find the quickGPS w/ patch zip at?

After searching for a long while on why i was getting the certificate error and just couldn't find out what it was. I found these two files that help people that happen to get a rom that doesn't have quickgps in it. If they are already on the site i'm sorry, but the search just wouldn't find em for me.

1.) Install SdkCerts.cab

2.) Install lllboredlll QuickGPS.cab

3.) Restart and it should work now.

I thank |||bored||| for making this work for me since i couldn't find any that work for the touchpro unless you happen to flash a rom with it already cooked in.
