Incomming email password
About 4-5 times a day, I get this pesky little window that tells me that my email username and password are incorrect on my mogul, even thought they are correct! I hit cancel and the screen goes away only to come back later in the day. Any suggestions how to get rid of this? It just pops up in the middle of whatever im doing............going crazy lol

Re: Incomming email password
Ok. That is true, but I was having a different problem, because my servers were matched correctly.
I think I might have found a bug in the system, because for me when I first set up my secondary email account, (not outlook) for me it was yahoo, it asked me for my yahoo username and password to complete the setup process. The bug in the system is, for me when I went back to look at my configuration settings it showed that my password was different than what I had entered before. (Maybe 10 more characters then I entered the first time) To fix this password bug, re-configured your email account. When you are asked for your username and password, enter it, but leave the save password box unchecked. Then finish. A minute or two later you should get that annoying pop-up saying Incomming email password. This time the password box should be empty, becuase you didnt save it before. Enter your password, and NOW check the save password box. Now the annoying screen should be gone for good. Worked for me and hopefully will help the others that were having the same problem. |
Re: Incomming email password
the same thing happened to my phone, and i did the things you said to do, the thing where you don't select save password and then the next time it comes up you do select save password. and it did do something but all it did what made it wait a little bit longer before the pop up came up again. im not sure if my settings are setup correctly but i didnt change any default setting. do you have any other solutions for it??? please help
