Okay, well I've already unlocked my phone and updates to wm 6.1... thx to this site and other detailed links. Only way I was able to do that was because of the links. thx

one last question:

how do I add stuff like slide2unlock2, htc home customizer? I know I have to download the file, after that i'm lost....

connect your phone to your pc using activesync or WMDC and transfer your downloads from there go to file explorer on your device then run your .cabs.

okay I'm really bad at this... my phone is connected to my activesync, I have downloaded the file I wanted.. the folder of the download is on my desktop. how do I transfer it to my phone? I can't click and drag, doesn't seem to work that way.

Go to mobile device settings >change content settings>sync settings> Add

i think I found my problem, i don't know where the cab files are.. I've only added htc home plugin.. where do I find the cab files?

On your device go to file explorer or zip should be in there if you transfered from your pc.
