Go to http://www.skyfire.com/sign-up and sign up for Skyfire with the beta code of cnet100 . I had been on the list for a couple of months and never got it. Sign up with the code even if you have before and you will get a text to download it right away!! Not sure how long this will last for!

did you type in the code because it shouldnt matter if your already registered and if so just start a new email account and u should be fine!!!

you probably forgot to enter the code of "cnet100". i did this the first time and it said it put me in a list. re-registered and in the next text it had a link to download and install the cab file

like i said before, the site is strange and the text boxes are whited out, kinda tricky.

damn im screwed then cuz my account was never verified cuz i never gotten my sms confirmation, and when i try to sign up again it says that my information is already registered so im stuck, i cant login nor sign up again :40:

UPDATE: ok, figured it out...by default (for some reason) p.i.e. sends you to the skyfire home page...to fix this just copy the link in the text message, and paste it in what ever browser it is that you are using on your phone...works...trust me....just did it...good luck!

sometimes your carrier has a block on 3rd party text messages, call them and make sure they take it off...

Na, I entered the "cnet100" code. The message I get (tried it twice) is that I'm in the queue for Beta 2 and they are only allowing the download of Beta 1 at the current time. Beta 1's were people who signed up before March 1. No launch date for Beta 2.

No matter how many emails i register with, it tells me the PHONE NUMBER IS ALREADY REGISTERD! I tried it with 3 different email accts.!

think i saw a cab file for that @ xda dont quote me it could have been opera but there should be a registry hack u can use @ ppc geeks just type in registry and you should find wut you r seeking

TRY to Use another phone number and email aYou can switch between devices by following these instructions before using Skyfire on the new phone.

Unlock Skyfire from your current phone:

Login to Skyfire using your DESKTOP BROWSER to switch between phones or change your mobile number

Email address: your registered email address
Password:
Click on My Profile in the left nav
To switch between devices, click on the checkbox for "Switch my Skyfire account to a different mobile device"
You will need to do this step even if your phone number is the same and you want it to work in a different phone.
Enter the new phone number (if you are changing the phone number associated with your Skyfire account)
Click on Update to apply the changes

Install Skyfire on the new device:

Click on Download
From here you can choose to "Send SMS with Link" or "Download to PC".
If you choose download to PC, you will need to select if you have a touchscreen or non-touchscreen device
Click on Download

Note: Skyfire will only be active on one phone per account at a time during the private beta, if you decide to install Skyfire on another phone, it will stop working on the previous phone.

yea!! The wierdest shit, i told skyfire to send me a SMS to retrieve my download via txt. It says a SMS message has been sent and guess what!?!?!? NO ****IN SMS MESSGAE! YEA I AM BOUND TO BOT GET IT! Even after I contacted them, they still gave me the run around!!! I type me email address to verify and it finds me like I was invited to participate at one point, but i NEVER GET THE TEXT!! WTF!

I just signed up again, but i used my same e-mail and everything. then i got a text message, but i copied the link and pasted it on my i.e. after that it just directed me to a link 2 download the cab file. give it a shot bro. im loving every second of it.
