MY SD is messed

i cleared my phone of all its memory due to my storage card not working anymore, i think the problem happend when i connected my phone to a friends computer to just charge and maybe that messed up my phone. well the Sd micro inside my htc reads a file with just a "g" and the properties says it has clear memory but my sd is full and i cant delete this file "g" so is my sd card shot do i have to get a new one, or is there a way to clear this problem somehow thanks guys and gals :)

Something similar to this happened to my sd card in my touch. It quit responding after I flashed a new rom on it. The phone wouldn't even see the card any more. To fix the issue, I stuck the card in my computer and reformatted it. Give this a try because your card might not be dead. If this does not work I would say that the card is dead. If this is the case, you can get a 4gb micro sd card for $25. Micro sd is cheap right now.
