in history when HTC shows a purple color like that its a lot more red than it looks in pictures. if you look back to the glofish's they did the same thing...the pics show up as purple color and they end up being a dark red when they come out.

i have the touchpro which is sexy btw but i have messed with the diamond and i actually do love the red on it as venumx says....... makes the phone look classy and nice on the eyes at the same time unlike a sold toned and colored phone..... nad the red isnt bad at all when you see it and is wayyyy different.

idk to me it looks weird but if you guys say ya its good looking than i will take your word on it. so im guessing its going to be flat backed on the phone not diamond shaped like seen before and im mad that there is no front camera why does the usa versions always gotta take that off. but how does the touchpro look same colors or? and in sie comparison to the mogul and the diamond to the touch? bigger? smaller? but ya to me solid looksbetter but i guess i gotta wait until i see it in person either way i will most likely be getting them both.


but which one you think will be better if i had to pick.

and anyone heard about prices yet? regular price and upgrade price and new activation price?

yeap no flash still! autofocus though and 3.2 MP :) its a real nice phone its nice and small! ill take pics of it as soon as i can bring it home; they wont let me leave the store with it yet hahaha

haha yeah.. i actually have yet to find a glitch in the diamond so far amazing!!! and looks great nice and small!... the touch pro is sick to i like the silver touch they put on it like the chromed look. The keyboard is wayyyyy better too when you handle it!!! looks like we're going to be able to direct ship in first or second week of september.

thats good news on all that. which one are we shipping out in first or second week? diamond or touch pro also why havnt i read anything yet in our playbook they already mention alot of new other things but not that yet. no pix or anything. sux. but damn i know wat my pay check is going 2 lol. this baby. im happy as hell i didnt fall for the instinct.

now how did you get ur hands on the touch pro? since the day i day one that i found out they were going to release it on sprints network i cant stop thinking about getting the (touch pro) or aka the herman witch i will never call it that. the only way of getting one so far is unlocked GSM so again how did you get you hands on one???????????????

sprint one is wayyy prettier. the red makes it look a lot better believe it or not. those pics just look boring to me after getting my hands on the diamond. on issue ive seen thus far is WMWifi doesnt work on the touch diamond :( but im working on a fix for it at work haha. as for the herman name for the touch pro whomever said that; it was a guy that had made up those names as joke release names for the new HTC phones...they will be released as diamond and touch pro.

for what i remember shit i forgot the site that i was on.But when i find it i'll post it, but anyways the price that ranges from 300.00 to 500.00... and it depends on the carrier and contracts agreements.

after i saw that the cdma carrier Telus in Canada has the diamond i dug there website for a price and for the Htc touch diamond they wanted $150 w/ 3yr $349 w/ 2yr and $399 w/1yr contract and w/out $449, now im not sure how far off we are here in the states, hopefully we are less that would be great

Now i just wish the MIR was at least $150!

When u upgrade do they give u the MIR after the $150 from the 2year upgrade?

I was told I can get the phone for the new customer price but i wonder will they throw my money from having service for 2 years away. ( I would call and ask but im always told i have to wait till its in their system to see what they can offer me) I just hope they don't try 2 screw me over!

and ya you still get the mir. all you got to do is submit it. like i tell my customers all they can do is try sometimes and it works sometimes it dont but in this case ya you would still get it.


idk if i wanna pay full price or resign my contract. i dont mine resigning its just the fact that i dont want them to make me give up my free incoming plan.
