iphone touch browsing
 

i've been searching google, youtube and here for a web broswer for the mogul like the iphone touch browser by makayama for the mogul. it looks like an awesome browser and if i had the fifteen bucks id get it but i dont so ima a settle for a free less attractive one for now. any help is appreciated.

if i posted this in the wrong spot im sorry i figured this was the best place.

BRO HAVE U BEEN HIDING UNDER A ROCK OR SUMTHIN?? have u tryd SKIFIRE / OPERAmini or OPERA 9.5 !? All these programs are all over the site just PLEASE do a search...

thanks I didn't know about opera. I tried skyfire and the codes didn't work. like I said I searched all over for this "htc mogul touch browser" "windows mobile touch browser" "windows mobile touch browsing" and "htc mogul ppc 6800 touch browsing." and got nothing. I saw a youtube vid about skyfire and searched and found it here but no luck getting it. believe me I won't post unless I really have to and after two hous with very little results I gave up and posted. if I come off rude appalogise(sp?) just letting you know im not lazy and I appreciate your help.

i use the stock IE,OPERA9.5/OPERAmini and SKIFIRE..depends on what im doing..

look inthe skyfore thread there are new codes that work again and arent yet blacklisted.

you forget theres also piscel browser not a very good browser but its got the same zoom as the iphone browser.

theres also netfront 3.5 which isn't bad but does use a bit of memory...

thanks guys i downloaded the iris browser and its pretty good...slow but good.
ima look into the skyfire browser. man it sounds like there aint one browser that does it all. well touch pro is coming out soon so i quess i will wait for it.

u can download FtouchSL and it will turn ur mogul into the htc touch and it will work on the stock IE, i have tried netfront and opera 9.5 those are all good but with moguls memory its hard to goto alot of sites, i use skyfire and do not have a problem, i would defently get that when it comes out, i like netfront the best though. it was pretty good.

im sticking to opera 9.5, it was slow till i applied D/\SH's internet hack and love how it renders the pages

but the closest to an iphone browser when it comes to the touch feel would be Picsel Browser, not as good but best looking

well as for opera and skyfire being mem intensive.. if you install kaos hybrid rom it won't be bad on memory at all. i can usally browse with 15m left over. ^_^ kaos ftw

skyfire ftw! with D/\shs internet hack its fast enough for me not to complain....a lot quicker than iris browser in my oppion. ima look into the touch thing for the mogul for browsing.

Hey everyone. I have swcked pocket plus installed and it actually transforms the stock ie into a touch browser as well as gives you tabbed browsing so that you can have more then one page up. I like it its pretty sweet so thats another option people could go for touch browsing.

It would be more helpful to the both of us if you could possibly give us the name of the program and the site that you linked to to find it. We'd rather not have to go through all of the searching of google, youtube, and here to see what you're talking about so that we can help you.

Yeah man absolutely.. I cant install it.. The ROM I am using wont open any CAB wtf.. Hmm..

Ok well I tried this.. Key doesnt work haha says its wrong or expired

that's kinda what this site's about. And other than solely the people who read this thread, how else would other members have a chance to try it out?
