Does anyone here work for sprint or know if the thouch pro can be activated for a sprint line?

um..the touch pro for sprint hasn't come out yet, so i'm guessing you mean the gsm version? if so, it can't be activated on sprint cuz sprint is cdma. give more info so i can better answer your question.

yeah that is the official release for the touch pro. October 19th it already shows up on our new pricing sheets. Says the diamond should be in mid September....i find it funny they still dont have an exact release date.

hahaha for sure im hearing between the 15th and the 19th.... most likely the 19th since it is a friday and thats when they mostly come out.

When I went to Sprint two weeks ago to upgrade from the Instinct to the HTC Mogul, they said that pretty soon they will be offering the HTC Diamond and the HTC Touch Pro. So yeah I would say that you can activate it on their service. Call and find out or drop into a Sprint store near you.

i called tele sales just for kicks at 12:18am sept 2... and was told sept 14... then i checked here a day or two later and saw 15 - 19. so i tried online chat session on the 4th i think. i was told again the 14th by i totally different department and representative. what you guys think... could it be the 14th?

it could be according to my computer im sitting in front of right now at work im showing the 14th with the possibility of it being delayed to the 19th.

its the 15th i called sprint representatives and they said the diamond will come out the 15 and the touch pro will come out 19....

i upgraded to the mogul in January and I was wondering if I went to Sprint after the touch pro came out, with my phone broken would they replace it with the touch pro because they both have the same retail value...sorry if this is the wrong place for this post. If this has already been answered could someone please point me in the right direction?

Well they'd only replace it if you have insurance on it, but they wont replace it with anything. Asurion(the insurance agency) told me they'd replace my centro with a touch since it's same value. Now when ever I call them they say they never told me this and that I'm lying to them, and that they don't switch for a comparable device.

he wouldnt go through asurion he would go through the store and if they cant fix it in a timely manner they HAVE to give you a new one... but you will not get the touch pro for the mere fact that they have millions and millions of refurbs ready to be shipped to you and also ready at the store.....

Thats what I was afraid of...maybe I just need to make friends with the people that are working there cause I saw a guy go in and get a comparable phone because he knew the people that were working there...thanks D/\sh and keithtoxic

Since the Htc Touch pro does come with a standard headphone jack..Does anyone know where to get an adapter if they do sell one?

Yeah you can find them on Ebay i was looking on all over i found some it was like 2 for 2 bucks. :brows:
