Help: Zip files/installing files
 

I need help w/ my mogul.... I need to know how do i zip files to my phone. It goes to the Zip screen, but when i highlight the file it does nothing. I extract ths file and still nothing. I'm runnig the 6.1 rom. Can someone help me wit this please i really appreicate it.

you would have to use pocketrar to unzip the files on your phone and get the contents. or you could do it on your pc with winrar and than jsut drag over to your phone through activesync..... let me know if you have any further questions and also tell us how it went for you.

Well I put da pocktrar on my phone an it seems to be working fine... I still have a few files dat i can't open or i just don't know what da hell i'm doing. Dash like your Custom HTC Home pack, i unzip the files and extracted them to the file labeled file in da Home Customizer an da files are there but i can't find them in the customizer under my programs. Another one i can't get to work is da Wckediden psshutxp skin. don't have nothing that i can put in the windows files. Thanks for all ur help......

ok, i can help with the psshutxp question for sure...if you downloaded a skin for psshutxp, then all you need to do is unzip it (if was zipped/rar) the gif files to somewhere on your computer that you can find them....i.e. the desktop....then simply open up (explore) the files on your phone by way of activesync and locate psshutxp's progam folder (My Windows Mobile-based Device\Program Files\Psshutxp folder) and drag those gif files (that you unzipped on your computer somewhere) into that folder for Psshutxp folder on your phone...

as for the other things that you are having trouble with, we need to know what type of files they are that you area attempting to open/install...be more specific, please..

also, changing the name of this thread (as there are many MANY more like it titled "help"), and in the future please leave a little more info in the title of your thread so it will catch the attention of staff/members that may be able to hone in on your specific problem... i'lll be monitoring as much as i can, but staff please try to help in this area, as these titles are really becoming an issue..

for my htc pack you cna now download them through the newest version of the home customizer. but anyways you will want to do this on your computer. jsut right click than go to extract to desktop and you will have 4 different folders.... one clocks, one tabs, and one backgrounds, nad one weather. than you will right click on one of the folders and than choose extract and that will be the ones inside there that you drag to the correct area of htc home. please in the future read because this was already discussed and even explained in the first post of the thread where you downloaded these from.

This is wat i was talking about Dash....... I did dat copy da file thing u were saying to do when you copy them to ur desktop an everything came out golden..... Thanks a lot!!!!! BTW sorry bout posted da same thing again sorry i didn't see it when i dled your icons......

bro i need more info when does it say it????? i cant help you without having the information..... is in when you open the program? do you have ultimate launch installed?

I think I gt it.... I took da whole file and dled it to da other folders in da home customizer.... I need to take them out of da folder 1 by 1 right...... I need to copy and paste them in all of da folders one by one.... It gives me dat message when i go in da customizer and click on da folder say for example clock i click it and dat message pops up..... Yes, i do have ulimate launcher installed..... I think i'm a lil crazy, but i'm also new at this. i'm goin to try it one by one and i will holla back at u..

ok you are going to want to take each individual clock and all out seperately.... than once you do that drag them over.... and since you have ultimate launch you are going to have to disable ul from the homescreen and than enable htc home make the changes to the clock to get the appearence you want than un check home and recheck ul
