[ISSUE SOLVED] Text message notification
 

Yesterday i sent a text and the message sent notification came up and it isent supposed to come up with my rom ive had for a while now.The really innoying thing is that you cant turn off the backlight off you have to wait until the text message is sent to turn the backlight off or once you turn back on it will send then.any HELP??

If you have a registry editor go to the following and change SMSNoSentMsg to 1.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settin gs

If “Settings” branch does not exist, create a New Key with name as Settings. Then highlight Settings, and then create a new String Value key with value name as SMSNoSentMsg, with its value data as 1.

most of the settings in windows mobile are controlled by what is known as a registry editor. You can find registry editors for pocket pc/wm on here; the one i use is PHM Registry editor so go to search and search for PHM* registry and it should come up. Once you open it up on your device follow my instructions it shouldnt be too hard to do.

here is the link for PHM Registry editor...i highly suggest that you DO NOT make any changes to your registry without doing a little research and MAKING SURE that you adjusting the right settings...in this case: Venum is exactly right click here

I think using advanced configuration would be easier than registry editor. its under SMS notification yes or no. just soft reset afterwards. I hate that damn notification.

geez, why don't you just make it easier on the guy and use the .cab file.

the search works fine...... i never had a problem with it and always fine easily and quickly what i am looking for.....
