Trading Phones!
 

So me and another member may switch phones! My ? is if we both have the same carrier what steps do we need to take so that when I walk into the store and ask them to activate the phone? Just curious cause I dont wanna look like a dumbass!

i believe that both of you have to be in a sprint store so they can contact each other and make the trade

do what mike20pr said then, both you guys go to a sprint store, different ones are ok. and have them transfer over the phone

do you both have pior phones that you can activate until the trade takes place? that's gonna be the easiest way about it...even if you are both in seperate stores - even at the same time - you are gonna have a communication problem...BELIEVE ME! Not to take anything away from people that work for sprint, but 9 times out of 10, the store reps have NO clue what they are talking about...much less if you just walk in and want to coordinate a trade of service on these phones....

the best way is to have your service transferred to an older phone of yours (so should the other guy/gal) and then trade phones...then you can individually have the service switched to your new phone, and your communications are minimum with the store reps...

edit: there are a FEW reps that have a clue, but the chances that you'll both happen to get one (each) are slim to none...

dont worry you both just have to have the phones on hand by each other . . and you both have to have the same TYPE of fone that support each others plans u know? like i had a touch and she had a mogul and the support both the same plan but if they have like a razor and u have like a ppc the razor cant suppot the data plan . . get it?
