HTC Touch and home plugin problem

OK, after a hard reset, the first thing I do is install the htc home plugin. Why is my screen locking up on the sync page? All I can see is when I last synchronized. I can't push the start menu button, and there is no task manager to push. This has happened before. Could I possibly have a bad plugin file? Do I need to install anything else first? I love my phone, and I don't want to throw it across the room, but I just may................................HELP!!!!!!!:Flu sh:

We have a similar problem, when I install the last HTC Home Plugin, it doesnt work ... I work with official WM6.1 with my cruise and before the upgrade all it was perfect ...

6.1 is known to casue a lot of troubles like this.... have you tried this before though?
