There are instructions in each of the folders inside the .zip file to install each part of the theme
I wish I new how to create cab file installs for this as it is a bit of a job to do everything but... hey
I'm only good a few things not EVERYTHING.... maybe someone will create cabs for this or maybe they won't
Anyway if you follow the instructions you will be fine.

I have created .cab files for most of the install process but you will need to follow the instructions and install the cabs in the proper order.

also you will need to download the S2U2 .zip separately and install it to your S2U2 gfx folder location [be sure to delete the entire gfx folder in your S2U2 directory first]

and you will need to download the ALIEN-X.tsk file and put it into the my documents folder of your ppc then set it as your theme

and last download the background image upload it to your phone and set that as your background by going to touchflow settings background image.

Whew even in cab files its a big job lol

IF YOU ARE RUNNING A ROM WITH TOUCHFLOW BUILT IN OR ANY UPDATE FROM AND INCLUDING #15 up YOU MAY HAVE ISSUES WITH THIS THEME
as well as any theme out there. If you wish to use this theme problem free with everything working properly use a rom without touchflow built in and
use the update number #14 files from XDA and everything will work problem free

ALSO IF YOUR NOT USEING A HTC TOUCH dont use the cab install files as they include the dialer for the touch this may [probably] cause you issues on other phone
use the step by step guide in my .zip file and skip the phone dialer folder.

I have tested on multiple roms without touchflow built in currently on OMJ's 3.09 custom and 2 different touchs with this procedure - Update 14 step by step install files from XDA
My skin step by step install files no issues at all everything working smooth.

Also I have installed my newest unreleased contest skin via .cab install over the alienware one and everything agian went smoothly I upgraded to XDA install 16 everything crashed so hard reset and went back to the old #14 version agian no issues.

Update..........................................No v 15
Used the latest Jade touchflow build #20 and theme manager
and also made a new clock and some overall improvements

hahah i took a look at the old post...i was cracking up on the floor dying...well about the theme....Proby the theme is insanely hot and nice....i luve the start icon and s2u2 and everything blends so well, now one thing is, after installin everything, when I go to sms it turns off tf2d where it says tap to start touchflo 2d.....i tried installin another skin and the issue was fixed, I also installed the 1st version and tried the updated(cabs) and still a no go.....I hard reset and still nothin, hmmm im wondering lol

Can anyone else confirm this problem? As I I tested and re-tested this many times over from a clean rom install just to see if any problems would arise? I'm usen update 14 of touchflow2d to base this off of. If others are having this problem I will have to go back and try agian... the problem your describing was caused by the main page icons [the tiny ones] originally this problem was holding me back from skinning the entire suite but as far as I knew I had fixed this problem...I will have a look thro my uploaded files and be sure I didnt put up the old image....

i got the s2u2 and the tsk to extract but not the actual tf2d files or the cab files

yeah, finally got everything set up and i too also havin the same problem. but mine actually shutting down when i hit the email for my yahoo.... thats the only problem that i had that touchflo shut down.

I seriously think that the issues you guys are having have more to do with your install or touchflow then my skin
I would suggest doing a reinstall of touchflow usen release #14 do it your self install I had some issues with #15 and there is nothing new in 15 just a auto install cab. in 14 you can choose what to install as there is some stuff in 15 thats not needed. follow the step by step instructions in #14 and it will work perfectly for you. I just installed it and my skin on the wifes touch and had no issues as well I'm running a really old OMJ rom on her phone and the newest OMJ on mine. [nothing against any of the rom cookers here I just prefer a Bell users Bell rom, makes sence to me that if you use it you test it for it] I hope you guys get your issues sorted as when this baby is running smooth its awesome. best thing for the touch.... ever so far.

back to my previous post that was deleted...

can anyone confirm that the dialer and skin would work for the mogul???

i have kaos take 5 running with update 15 M2D. So far everythings working perfectly!!!! no lags what so ever!! its just the dialer that i havent installed bec i dont know if its gonna work and im afraid to mess up my setup it took me the whole night to make this run this smooth!!! so pls any info would help before i put the dialer in!!! thanks in advance!!!

Man I'd pinch your nipples if I saw you. Great work on this. Used your step by step and it's running flawlessly on my Mogul. After I installed your skin, Touchflo stopped restarting after running a few programs. Great work....truly great work.

hey probex buddy,i love ur touchflo 2d skin,i rate ita as the best ppc overall theme ever,the only bug i encountered was the same as above,whenever i switch to sms page,the theme just freezes,& i need to make a restart,i want to be sticked to ur theme on my wizard,but this error is tending me to switch to another theme probably working with sms page....plz provide me the solution

I still have to believe this has to do with a botched install of touchflow as of the few hundred people running this theme there is a very limited amount with this problem I suggest reloading touchflow usen the self install release #14 for me #15 gave me issues but 14 runs flawlessly when you follow the step by step instructions. I hope it works out for you mate.

Hey Probe, I think my last post got deleted with all the double post stuff. Its ok, it was just me professing my undying love for you, yet again, lol. Awesome work! I love you. This looks so great on my phone. I LOVE YOU. Did I say that already?! hahaha. Really though, everything works flawlessly except one small thing. On the photos tab the arrows and the video cam and cam images are the default blue and Ive tried everything to change them. I know those are the only ones that are bmp images. I even tried creating my own and changing them but whenever theyre edited and installed the dont show up at all. I know someone in XDA had the same issue and were instructed to save the files as bmps with specific advanced settings like R5 or something but nothing has worked for me. Any ideas? Those are the ONLY 4 images not working. Everything else is roses. I'd like to get em colored correctly but if I cant, so be it, I refuse to remove your theme lol.

Mmmm they should have changed with the download but here ya go sweetie... just upload those 2 images in the zip to your windows directory of your ppc... and you'll be set.

hee hee hee it worked! i figured out my error. thru my own foolishness....what it was is that clearly the photoshop "I" use and the one used to make the bmp files is not the same so when i DLed the files and the images didnt show. "I" thought it was a corrupt image so I tried to edit it. It wasnt a corrupt image, I simply dont use the same PS program so I cudnt see the file. See, leave it to a woman to try to fix something that aint broken lol. Thanx babe. The arrows worked. Im gonna re-DL the theme zip to get the correct cam and cam v bmps and next time i will let your perfection be what it is....Perfection. lol.

Actually I cant view those images once they are saved either its not photoshop thats the problem its the OS as those .bmp files are in 16 bit rgb mode and OS is in 32 or 64 bit mode. Its a odd thing that you can see them until they are edited then you just get the .bmp image not the picture... one of lifes little --- O well who cares moments... lol

thank u for telling me that. i thought i was losing my mind and it was just my system. i was scratchin' my head like "damn, i KNOW i know how to use photoshop!! wtf?!!" hahahaha. i got everything uploaded though so all the pics show. hell, i didnt even realize the photos had borders/frames bc all the files that didnt show i didnt upload. so needless to say, im all excited now cuz i feel like i got a brand new theme all over again. i had not uploaded like 19 files LMAO.

Totally love the theme. I have run into an issue i hope you can help me on. My mogul is been flashed to cricket and I have to install a cab to make my mms work. I installed it before your theme. Everytime I roll over the message tab it restarts touchflo. I s there something I need to do to correct this? Please any help would be greatly appreciated.

yo probey, i noticed the first time i used your theme that the dialer had no in call skin (or there was something wrong with it that it dont display rite) i wanted to point that out cuz i want to run this baby when i get my touch this week and see if you can look at it

Anyone thats having sms issues install this version of touchflow 2D follow the instruction carefully then install my skin, you will have no issues with anything if you follow the instructions in this build of touchflow, the newer cab installs have issues still the newest realse of touchflow has reveted back to this version but do it yourself as there is alot of shit not needed in the newest release.

after i follow the steps it says on my home page lunching touchflo...... then says tap here to launch touchflo. When i tap it says launching touchflo again then goes back to tap her to launch touchflo. so i tap one last time and it just says launching touchflo for ever. I waited for like 2 hours one time. Worked fine till I installed these cabs. any thoughts???

I need some information on what you guys are running..... custom roms with touchflow cooked in? All I can say is it seems hit and miss with some touchflow installs, I myself have installed from scratch like 3 times with various roms and still have not had the issues some are reporting? I don't know what to tell you guys if you followed the steps in this version of touchflow 2D follow the instruction carefully then install my skin, you will have no issues with anything if you follow the instructions in this build of touchflow, the newer cab installs have issues even the newest realse of touchflow has reverted back to this version but do it yourself as there is alot of shit not needed in the newest release, all I can tell you is I can only test on my phone as that is all I have and it works perfect... only other thing to try is un-install my cab and use the .zip guide and install step by step..

IF YOUR USEING A ROM WITH TOUCHFLOW COOKED IN YOU WILL HAVE ISSUES everyone I have seen try and load custom skins has problems as with touchflow cooked into a rom its like that is now part of the OS and the items such as images and the .xml file will not be aloud to overwrite the item in the rom esp. the custom clock basicly if you run a rom with touchflow built in you better like the skin thats cooked on it as changing it will not be easy.

I am using the KAOS edition for my touch which indeed has touchflo built in.

Is there no way to get around this error???

I REALLY want to use your skin. I have your S2U2 skin and have used your skins in the past (throttle launcher).

Over on XDA there is absolutly tons of people having problems with the last 2 updates and the custom themes they are trying to figure out what they changed thats crashing touchflow and the themes... but know luck yet. As for running custom roms with touchflow cooked in I would say there is no cure yet... as there are no reports of anyone running a custom rom that has been able to change themes without issues, you may get away with one of the themes that only changes the colors but nothing else but I still have my douts, the problem is when cooked into a rom the operating system protects those files so the cant be overwritten even if it looks like they do the first reset you will have problems the only way I have seen around it... that may work... and its not practical at all is to go into your windows folder and rename all 200 some odd graphic files to thefilename.old then upload the new skin.<ya prolly nobody going to do that one... lol This is one issue of touchflow being a beta still until they get everything sorted there will be issues like this. I would still suggest useing a rom without touchflow built in and the install version I posted. When they are on the Final working realese of touchflow I will go back and rework my skins to work on everything, the only reason for these big issues on the latest build is they added tons of stuff to make them work on non htc devices. Since I have a HTC device I see no need to upgrade the install yet as everything works flawlessly for me on the sept 13th build. If it aint broke.... well you feel me.

yea i noticed the issues with the themes but heres the reason, the developers changed the xml file for the update and since the themes had the previous xml code, it screws everything up

and you can use total commander to replace the stubborn cooked manila files in the rom

im still gonna use the previous versions just to use this kick ass theme :brows:

Ya I'll try not to brag but this is still the best most complete theme for touchflow... hahaha GODSONS theme is pretty nice and close but.... I still got it lol.

When they get to the final I plan to update this with the weather graphics from beyond invisible and change the clock to remove the analog also plan to change the map screen I'm not happy with that background I made. the one I made for the contest skin kicks this ones @ss.
And Its kind of odd how the music covers show up thro the mask hole of my graphic so maybe I will make a square cover behind it so the album cover show correctly.

Sounds great for now. I did find a skin that worked with touchflo cooked in the rom. Unfortunatly this is the only kaos rom for the touch so unless we can get him to make this rom with out touchflo in it or build a new one I cant ue your theme. SAD FACE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am still using your S2u2 theme though. Off the hook! thanks for all you do for Wckediden. keep up the good work.
