go to the folder of this app under program files from file explorer and than once you do that delete the customizations file with the opera like symbol next to it.

did you read through the thread or look at the bog letters to why it wont work in the first post..... you need to either delete the tweaks file or overwrite with a version thats fixed for us cdma users.

Hey D/\sh or anyone else that might know - Where do I find the tool to actually "Create" the TouchFlo 3D Themes? I downloaded this mod from this thread to install the Themes but I would like to delve into designing my own. I have searched some here but keep finding themes to download hehe

Thanks much in advance. Oh and I am Loving my new TP however I got my first taste of Sprint coverage here and I am not so happy about that lol. I hit some dead spots I never got with Verizon :-(

thats why you check the coverage on their map online or in the store..... there isnt a tool to make these.... yiou have to go one by one through all 10 megs or so of images and skin them manually using photoshop or your favorite photo editing program.

Re: Diamond TF3D Config Tool 067

Ahh - ok so then the .theme can be changed to .zip - then unzip it? Then from there I could tell by names what is what and recreate image files of the same size/name ect, zip them all back up and rename with .theme?

As for the coverage - I did check all that and from what I could tell Sprint and Verizon were pretty close to the same coverage in my area. No biggie - I love the phone so I wont complain much lol

--------- New Post Merged on 29/10/2008 at 12:14:02 --------

Eeek - still not that simple - the two I have downloaded so far show up as a bunch of system files with no file extention. One of them had a few .png files but definatly not all the graphics that the theme shows. Anywho - lol I guess I will wait to tackle that one another day :jaw:

Hi Dash
1) I have a Fuze
2) I have a problem and not sure where to go from here. I have installed Diamond TF3D Config Setup v0.6.7. I thought everything was working correctly until I tried to install the call history tab to the black theme (htc black). Everything went haywire from there.
3) I have attached a few screen shots for you to see. As you will see part of the theme has installed, but not all of it. Sometimes things work partially, and sometimes not at all. If I try to change it back to a standard TD3D theme it still does not work and the buttons along the bottom do not respond
4) My File Explorer also seems to be stuck trying to pull up the windows files. I have left it there for a while - I am able to X out of it but

Basically I would like to start again, but can't seem to get there, even if I do a reset through the TF3D config tool.

I am not panicing or anything like that, just wondering what to do from here to either go back to start or fix, while not messing it up anymore.
Any help would be appreciated.

that tab prolly doesn't work with your phone..... so take the tab off and see if that fixes your troubles..... if not you can always do the hard reset by going to start/settings/system/system restore.

Thanks for the quick response. I shut the Fuze off and turned it back on again and was able to bring it back to the non TF3D screen (see attached image).

I would like to avoid hard resetting if possible. How do I "take the tab off" as you suggested above. I have learned how to install, but what is the easiest way to remove. Thanks.

how was it installed? was it a cab file or did you install through the touchflo 3d config tool? if you did it cab wise go to start/settings/system/remove programs. if you did it through the config tool than just to it opposite of what you did to getr ti there... most likey unchecking it.

Thanks for the info. Here is an update:
1) I removed it and that seems to get my functionality back (see attached pic)

2) it seems I have something called "Sushi's Diamond TF3D Config" program. Is that yours from this thread? If not should I remove and use yours from here on out?

3) If this program is ok - what would the next step be to try to get the black theme back on the phone. should i go through that sushi diamond config tool and try again, or do something new.

thank you very much sir, and I would be happy to donate somewhere for the assistance.

1. yes thats the file you need dont uninstall the file......
2. and just get the black touchflo theme that you want download the .theme file and do what the video in the first post says and you will be golden :> you can find the touchflo 3d themes that we offer from the side menu under the mobile themes area..... just look for touchflo 3d themes :>

1) the video you added to this thread is great and should be manditory viewing for all new WM users and members here.
2) I was able to reinstall the black theme on my htc fuze with no problems (see attached pictures). I will now be able to upload more also.

3) I will say that I hope they come out with better TF3D themes that have more quick link options on the front page (like a swcked mobile shell type program). No heavy business user like me that I know uses the TF3D for that reason. It just is to time consuming to have to scroll around to get to regularly used features or areas on the phone.
** Do you know about any currently free themes that have more options like the mobile shell programs out there?

Thank you again Dash. Donation sent. I have read every single WM site, forum and blog and no one provides support (for free) like you have Dash. EVERYONE should donate to support the site just for those reasons. Thanks again.

I understand everything except how you're making these .theme files or whatever. I have the tool configured, i have a new folder made named 'themes' under 'my device', you said not to leave the files as .zip so how do we change them to what they should be - especially when they're .cab's?

what? a theme is a .theme not a cab.... are you sure you are using a touchflo 3-d theme?

If they are cabs then your good, just put them on your phone and run like any other cab. If there zips, put it on your phone, click it and hold, select properties from the pop menu. In the properties screen, erase the .zip so all that is left after the file is .theme. After that your good.

yeah im trying to get the carbon. i actually installed the carbon.cab theme before the tool and it seemed to work except i didnt get the clock and background working properly. everything else was 'carbon' though. im pretty much trying to figure out why the clock didnt turn out carbon. im not so worried about the background because i can pretty much tweak that the way i want.

so in conclusion i wasnt sure if the tool would fix this - so i installed the tool and now im trying to do it d/\sh's video tutorial way. but if they're not .zip i should be all set without the tool then?

if so can someone help me out with trying to get the clock to be carbon along with the rest of the phone?

Personally, I never liked the cab themes. They never seem to work as well as the actual .theme ones.

you cant leave them as zip you have to extract the .theme and add to a new folder named themes on your storage card.

The theme file is still on there or the theme its self is still there ? In the 3dconfig there should a button to restore back to default settings. And to remove the file use file explorer.

All you have to do is drop the theme into a folder go into the config tool then find that folder click on it look in the drop down menu and there you see your theme

try completely uninstalling and reinstalling...if that doesn't work - i'm at a loss because i've not heard of this one, either...also stick a soft reset in there every now and again, sometimes WM just needs a good jump start.

I just looked through the noob guide 20min ago to help on this next question but no cigar. I went to the Zip program on my device seen a file called Standard_skin.zip is in their. I have no idea of what to do so that i can get this to work.

Re: Diamond TF3D Config Tool 0.6.7

all you need to do is install this app.. then go to Start/Programs/File Explorer. In file explorer go to My Device/Program Files/touchflo3d config folder/ In this folder there will be a file named "tweaks". You need to DELETE the TWEAKS file. then open the Touchflo3d config in Programs. Make sure your theme file is on your phone in a folder. When the touchflo3d config tool is opened, click path. Point the Path directory to where the theme is and leave the folder HIGHLIGHTED only. (Do NOT OPEN THE FOLDER WHERE THE THEME IS). Then there will be a drop-down arrrow. Select your theme. press apply. Follow the steps and DONe.
