Roaming and no Data connection after flash
 

hi, so im feeling pretty dumb right now because i jumped into flashing a rom before i knew anything. I still dont know anything but now my phone is messed up and I need some help.
I have a verizon xv6900 and on some random website i cant remember it told me to install the stock bell rom to update my radio before installing the custom rom. I think the mistake I made was that i couldnt figure out how to stop the customizations from running after the bell rom was installed, so they ran and i think that that messed up my radio or w/e
the only thing ive found to do after searching is to run radiorefurbish.exe from the windows folder but when i click on it in file explorer nothing happens

heres some info that might be useful

radio version: 3.42.50
PRL version: 51056
PRI version: 2.03_007

if someone could get me to the point where my radio (and whatever else) is where it needs to be so that i have gps and still have all the regular functions of the phone (making calls, text messages, data, etc) that would be awesome

ps im willing to completely reflash my phone if that will fix it because i was going to install a different rom when i was finished anyways
pps sorry in advance if this is posted somewhere else, i looked around a lot but i have trouble understand what people are saying sometimes because i dont know all the jargon

go to your phone settings click on phone then service look for internet then click Get Settings under initiate custom NAI click start...that should reset your settings.

I have to do that every time i upgrade a rom hope this help for ya :)

yeah im pretty sure im looking in the right spot because TTY Mode is there, but internet just isnt in the list.
whats my mogul?

i did some searching and a guy seemed to have the same problem as me and was directed to:

and he said that fixed the problem, but i have no idea what its talking about, so if anyone could give me a step by step based on that maybe that will fix it

i removed the links it violates our forum policy when you hyper link to external sites...well to answer your question you need to go there and ask for support if there's a fix...i have no other problem but what i showed you to fix...

ok bro we only do support here we dont do through aim... but to fix your problem... you arent too far off... our phone all you have to do is (since phone is unlocked from bell rom) is flash over the custom rom of your choice and you will be fine.

sorry again, i just thought that since people had screen names in their profiles that you guys did that. Also, I've flashed several different custom and non-custom roms since the problem began and that doesn't solve it.

well here is your issue.99.9% of customs roms dont have radios...so your keeping the radio from bell....in my experiences.. .50 sucks..gps takes longer to lock sats...calls are craps...i went with 3.42.30 more stable sats lock instantly for me.... but to easily fix your situation
go to htcs site. grab stock rom...it will flash it..and give you old radio back...

if not search for my first touch rom...in second post was 3.42.30. and instructions on how to flash from sd card...
will just fix your radio

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think a verizon stock rom exists

correct, just the rom dump does but with a lil time and work one could convert the rom dump into a nbh file.

So, if a verizon stock rom doesn't exist does that mean it's impossible to revert my radio back to where it needs to be?

there should be a stock rom being dropped soon containing WM 6.1 since the verizon users still dont have this stock.
