Diamond Picture Mail
 

Now maybe I didn't understand what this was, but is the built-in account for the picture mail only for sending pictures or should I be able to receive pictures through that too. Because I still get them as a text message with a link. Its not a big deal if that is how it works, just curious.

just to send the pictures from what i can see..... dont receive too many mms'............. ill look into it though and see what i can find out for sure. if you want send me a pm and we can send back and fourth this weekend and see if we can get it figured out for sure.

my wife sends me alot of the new baby. i get them in the mms folder. no link. if you are getting a link you might have to call sprint to have them reset your pic mail. or try what i did which was a hard reset and go on line to send yourself a pic mail form the sprint website. but long story short the pics should come directly to your phone no link

Well I went into a sprint store on my way back from work and asked them about why my mms wasn't receiving anything and they said thats how it works. They said all smartphones just receive it as a link in a text message. Thats when I remembered that it is useless to ask anyone there anything about their products. Now Im just sad that my mms doesnt work correctly.

mine works fine. I think there was an update for the picture mail that you can dl directly from your phone. I have a sprint picture mail folder and pictures just pop up in that folder but sounds still play off WMP

Thanks. I gave it a go but still not working. Oh well. Maybe it'll fix itself once I flash to Juicy's Rom.

cool let us know how it goes, and remember the juicy rom doesnt have any of the spritn apps included but we do have them here :>

You should be able to send/receive pics via the MMS client. If you are getting a link, then something is wrong on the network side and not your device. I would call star 2 and say "technical support." If you go to a Sprint store, you should go into one that has a repair center. Any other store isnt going to have much knowledge on how to "fix" something other than simple billing issues.

Changing your ROM isnt going to fix the MMS issue for you, unfortunately.
