gps not working after kaos take 5 rom install
 

First off I'd like to thank each and everyone of you who make these phones a lot cooler it is much appreciated. I looked around extensively to find my answer and I couldn't find what i needed. Anytime I use a gps application like garmin or sprint nav it does not recognize that there's a gps, the radio that i have on there is 3.42.02, i have been trying to flash the radio but it cuts out at 8 percent. However i did read in the original take 5 thread someone saying that they had the same radio and it should work. If anyone could point me in the right direction i would be very gratefull.

ok are you using something in the background to prime your main gps with? try google maps and see if you can connect through there.... and in google maps be sure to click the right soft button and go to find me.

You rule dash, i got google maps up and the gps came right up, sprint nav works too, garmin on the other hand, i'll have to mess with that one i think thats a garmin issue. Thanks again man appreciate the help.
