Touch PRO
 
Is anybody else having a problem with the weather tab, mine is saying there is a connection problem, I can get on the internet with no problem, just can't update weather. If so is there a fix.

thats what happened to mine when i got it but did a soft reset and now it works u should try it, but if that doesnt work i have no idea how to fix

moving to the help desk since this is a question and not a release.... please watch where you post. and also what phone, rom, and interface are you running.

Mine took ALL day before it finally kicked in and started working - Had internet connection issues at first as well but called help desk and they resolved that for me but the weather still not work for several hours later.

to fix my weather i deleted all of the default places..and then assignmed my area and it started working fine.

it resolved itself, it now works,...Dash you asked numerous questions, first what phone, in the title it clearly says touch pro. All original software, otherwise i would have stated that.

Does anyone elses touch pro speaker when on a call sound muffled and low? (sprint)

mine sounded low & muffled until I took off the plastic protector that was on the front screen - now that its off its not so muffled but even with volume maxed still seems weak. :-(
Also mine did not come with video out cable.

Hey not sure if I should post this here or if I should have started a new thread. My weather is now updating fine however somehow I have lost The "United States" as a country to choose from to add more places. Weird - Anyone else notice this?

I haven't had that happen to mine yet. I'm also not 100% sure on what to do for you. I would do a hard reset and try it again but I'm also a noob @ the TP

what i want you to do is head over to the juicy rom thread ofr the diamond and than in the first post you will see a weather can and instructions on how to set it up and run it... ionstall that and follow the steps and you should be golden :> worked great on my touch pro way back when i had the problem :> let me know how that worked for you :>

You freakin ROCK D/\sh! It worked and 35 min of talking with Sprint Tech support had no idea what to do other than have me do a hard reset which didnt fix it. They got a ticket set up for me and said that tech support would get back to me in like 51 hours lol. Thank you!!

hahahahaha no problem bro glad that the fix worked for you also :> when i had the trouble after i flashed over 1000 phones i decided to give it a try lmao

Well it did work to get the "United States" option back on there for sure. But I did notice the program in my "Programs" folder and tried to click it from there and it error'd out saying I did not have the correct "Framework" installed on my device. So I am guessing that it's not meant to be messed with once it gets the USA link fixed haha

btw - when can we expect a sweet ROM for the TP? I am thinking that the one that comes stock is a little buggy - I got the screen shuttting off in the middle of texting and the volume seems way to low when turned up all the way - also the TouchFlo can be laggy at times. Nothing real huge but from what I read of the cooked ROMS - they make things much more spiffy

its gonna take time to work the bugs out.... diamond still be working on since its still not too good with custom..... and as the instructions in that post says you uninstall the program once you select your cities.

ahhh - I read it as you can uninstall the cab thinking it meant delete the cab file lol - I will uninstall the program now - <---- Noob
