duplicate contacts
 

for some reason my phone displays 4 of everybody is there something i could do besides go thru and delete 3 of everything or does anybody know the reason this mite be happening??

maybe because you are syncing the contact from to many different source like:

lets say you have mail2web setup in your phone and if you have that checked like email and contact and when its synchronized then all that will be sync again the same thing for outlook and msn...If you have to choose one source for sync especially the contact.
on my phone i use ms outlook to sync for my contact but not the email and i use mail2web for my emails..

thanks i thinks thats it, how do i set it to only do 1 of them and turn the others off??

I would delte the extea contact in the phonebook.,.. then once i had the phonebook up to date... I would then delte any partnerships with activesync.. then REsync the information from the devices phone book to the PC.

yep, exactly what jew said but also if you use msn.msn can trick you when you set it up and make sure you uncheck the contact part and choose only email.
