Bought a BAD PRO ESN BAD what to do

So i bought a PRO with a BAD ESN :ireful1: ... thought if anything i could use it for parts, can i somehow put a new ESN on it like the MOGUL

or

is there something i can do to sell it for users on a different carrier like verizon, metropcs, etc. I read something about unlocking the phone but how do you do that.

not hard many scams are out there. one of the most common i see at sprint is that someone while shipping even to sprint sometimes will write down the esn off of the box . than before the phone is shipped t the stores but released already will activate that phone online than call it in lost or stolen and when doing that they pay 50 bucks and get a brand new touch pro....... people have been doing this since the apache.

doesnt really take much to tell the truth... very easy to do and than once the new on e gets to them overnighted remember they activate and than the old esn will be lost in the system.

Hey check this out bra. I got some good news for ya!!!!1 me and my homeboy found this program(i don't know if Wckediden will let me upload it) but we were playin around with it and made a new esn for his touch pro. His pro had his account on it already but some kind of way he called sprint got his msl and made a new esn for it. Now he has two touch pros accordin to sprint records.!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hit me up and i will tell you where to find the esn thing.

I am wondering if I might not be in the same boat with a bad ESN -- what do I need to punch in on the PRO to find my ESN? (I was told *#06# but that didn't work.)

How about another stupid question then... Is it the same thing as the DEC? That is what they asked me for when I called in.
