Installing themes on Mogul
 

i cant seem to install themes on my phone. i am using Kaos' rom. I put the .tsk file in the template folder and when i go to the today and when i click the right theme and click ok nothing happens except the menu bars turn grey...which is not part of the theme. i have ultimate launch and the htc home plugin. i cant figure out whats wrong and couldnt find it in the search

i have all my themes in the storage card and when i go to START/SETTINGS/PERSONAL/TODAY.. all the themes show up..

well they show up on mine too. but when i hit the ok button and the theme doesnt load...

yes i am. it just turns the menu bars grey and everything grey pretty much. I even tried to hard reset. still nothing.

would it be because of the rom? i wouldnt think so. i made my own theme and i cant even use it haha

ok so first i opened the folder where the themes were then i opened up the PPC on my computer, went into the device and into my documents and into templates.
then i drag and dropped the two themes(Bb1 and mustang theme) and then closed out of everything. then i went into my phone to settings/personal/today and changed to the mustang theme, and you can see the bars change to grey but thats it. then i change to the bumble bee theme and you can see that nothing happens.

hope you can see it good enough. i only have a digi camera to video on. Hopefully this helps! thanks!

sorry about that i was driving around.. i just instald and am haveing no problems..other then the green,LMAO!! maybe ur not saving it in the right place? have u tryd saving to storage?

i dont think its the rom, i was using kaos rom for a day or two and had no problems with themes loading.. lets see what dash thinks, but try the stroage if u already havent.

btw, im not big on muscle cars but nice theme..

yeah i pretty much made everything green haha. ill have to spend a little more time on it. thanks for testing. i did try the storage. i cant figure out what the problem is.

not big aon muscle cars? man...youre missing out. nothing sounds the same. you must be an importer...or fart can haha...jk to each their own

yeah import. 96'civic hb,h22, tranny and working on turbo kit.. maybe right side driver?? and 06' Z4 some mods but more sounds.. i was looking into a 66' mustang or 69'olds cutless idk, but lets wait to see what dash thinks..

i really dont know what the trouble would be after a reflash and hard resets......... i would flash back to stock and see what that does and if it doesnt fix it than i would say bring it into your providers repair center.

alright thanks. ill try that later tonight..when i wont get interupted with texts..would it really kill my phone if i get a text or call while flashing?

I dont know iv never got a text/call durring the process.. but if u take it back to sprint remember to RELOCK IT!! :eat:

yep that worked. i flashed to the newest alltel rom. and the themes work..so what does that mean? i cant use other themes on the take 3?

no you can use other themes....... i would try flashing to kaos now and see what happens.

nope...flashed to take 3 again with no luck. same problem. maybe this problem is only with the alltel version of the Kaos Take 3 rom?

wow...im an idiot once again...i was reading the Kaos Take 3 rom thread again and there is a fix for the theme changing. haha thanks for everyone that answered. hopefully this works.

all of them will work for alltel as long as they were made for the titan aka mogul. just your choice to tell the truth bro..... go with what you like even if that means that you are going to go to sprint stock or something lmfao (dont go to sprint stock since it sucks big, hairy, sweaty, big jew balls.)
