what would be the best format, frame rate things like that to have the video play flawless with core player or wmp

you wont want to do through wmp so i would go after core or TCPMP

I like to use ImToo Ipod video converter. I always convert to 480X640 and use either mp4 or avi, depending on how stressed I am for storage space. The good thing about that program is its got the optimal frame rates built in. Hope this helps.
