Verizon - Want MORE RAM? Disable HTC Dialer Skin

VZW - More RAM / disable Dialer Skin

Want 8-12 more MB of free RAM on your horribly gimped 6850????http://forum.xda-developers.com/images/smilies/eek.gif Just disable the pretty HTC dialer skin. The dialer will switch back to the default WM one, which to be honest, I still prefer. Little did I know the HTC skin was sucking up about 10 MB of RAM.

Give it a shot and share the results. You can use several apps like Advanced Config or Diamond Tweak to disable the HTC dialer skin, or change it manually via the registry.

Below is the manual registry tweak:
-'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE / Security / Phone / Skin'
-change the value of 'Enabled' from 1 to 0.

i seen this...lol i have to say so so sad...poor Verizon guys....they screwed you all on this phone..

hahahhahaha yeah they did..... all i have to say is mogul all over again for the verizon customers...... if you think about it all its basically the same phone with a bling factor added.
