Heywhatever happened to
 

Hey everyone... just out of curiosity, what ever happened to the Barcodes... I mean... I have been noticing a lot of new post of apps, games, etc being posted up, but it seems like no one is really doing the borcodes these days. Im not sure... is it just me? I only asked because I really liked using my inigma barcode reader... made it very conveinent to download the programs especially when on a computer (like at work or a friends) and not able to tether or download to that comp. Without it I either have to wait till i get home (if I remember) or navigate to the webpage on my phone... (not terribly hard to do... but Im lazy, lol). I dont know... was it really complicated or diffucult to create these for the postS or something? Because im sure its probably easy for me (who hasnt posted any apps up yet) to complain about, but completly different for those doing it... or is it just a useless feature that's been fazed out because people arent using it much?...any insight or opinions... just wondering...

heh some people are just lazy. i try to do my posts with barcodes from now on :-)

know what? imma go around and see if any need the code and i'll post it lol. feel bit lazy to study so i'll Wckediden for a while

its just that they take a lil longer to do and make these up with all the releases and support i give and do..... but i will try more often to get some barcodes... if you need barcodes added just ask and someone will get it made for you or you could read the thread on it thats stickied under Wckediden news and you can make from just the link.

Nice... Spj at this point is definatly one of my favorite distractions and means of procrastination these days...

Oh kool... i think ill do that...study up a bit on how to, and everynow and then it could be a means of contributing to the site!

its very easy.... go to the original sticky post i mentioned and add the link and it auto makes them for you :>

yeah i got it down, but im wondering, when you go to that site, and it ask you to post the link, do I have to post the Wckediden link of the post or do i find the original link thhat the Wckediden post forwards you too... also, if I personally was to do this, for other people pos, how exactly do I post the barcode on their original post, or should i just post it in the thread and ask a moderator to post it in the original post for me?

yup as tweety said jsut post her up and we will edit in in there for you :> and when you make one you have to use the rapidshare link so it will go to their to downlaod and not jsut to the site where they would have to click and everything.

Lol, tweety, I went around last night doing the same thing. I added 4-5 bar codes to posts! I'll do some more tonight as well. Mine won't be as nice though because I can't add it to the first post. :)

okay... so I tried doing some barcodes today... but im having trouble converting the url cor to img for the post... everytime i do the post i just comes out looking like code... I know in the intructional thread it say you have to make the url code into [/img] but when i tried to do that... well suffice it to say, i seem to be doing it wrong, any specific on exactly how to change a url code like this

easy..just take the link and put between [img ] and [/img ] remove the spaces. like so..http://qrcode.kaywa.com/img.php?s=8&...First_Poop.rar

not everybody know we have a build in feature already set.We were the first and thanks to Tigerz, he came up with the code.

when you post a rapidshare link just highlight the link an din the editor toolbar you'll see a miniature barcode image hit that and the image will appear

this is the sample of it here so it will be like you can view it by quoting this post.
