ThrottleLock ver 04 problem
 

Help Mister Wizard (s)!!!
I have TL 0.4 installed, it works perfectly except for ONE thing. When my TP is asleep and TL is activated (by definition) and I get a phone call it is IMPOSSIBLE to answer a call. 1st of all I have vibrate and rind set as my call notification. There is no sound when I get a call or a vibration when my TP is asleep. I just tested it by calling myself from my land line and the TL display lights up, but no sound and no vibration. So...I get a call I don't know I am getting and even when I do I can't answer it before it goes to VM. Is there a fix for this? If not.....how do I uninstall TL????

go to the throttle lock options and uncheck the box that says activate upon new call and tht should fix your troubles since mine works no matter if it is vibrate, vibrate and ring, or regular..... and this may sound stupid but did you check to make sure your volume is up and that it didnt get switched over to silent by accident.....

in TL configuration, do you have "lock on call" checked? if so try unchecking it and try again,this version works for me on my pro. to uninstall start/settings/system/remove progeams

Volume is set fine for ring and etc. Here are my Throttle config options and what I have checked, or not.

Grid size=3 and 3.
Skin=default
Mode=All but phone buttons
Lock Automatically=checked (I've done numerous soft resets)
Lock on start up=unchecked
Lock on call=unchecked
Exit on hibernate=checked
There is no box to check for activate on new call! There are no other options in the config to check or not.

Lock on call is unchecked and always has been :(

sounds like something is clashing on the phone app wise..... what other apps have you installed?

Now I have checked and rechecked and done a soft reset as well. Problem still exists. D button illuminates, screen with Throttle lock pattern illuminates after 3 rings and there's NO way I can swipe pattern and get to call before it goes to VM! That is if I am looking at the phone when I call it, obviously I haven't a chance when it's in my pocket. (no xray eyes or clairvoyant abilities, sigh......

Now what?

update

I uninstalled ver 0.4, at least my phone is a phone again.
Any other suggestions like a newer version? 0.4 seems to be the newest....maybe another app that does the same thing?

try s2u2 slide2unlock, same thing, locks the phone but its alot simpler* its just a slide, no combination, no real security. or go back to version .03 of TL and see if that works for you

I am curious to how you change the clock format instead of like 17:12 to like 6:12pm type of thing, and is it like S2U2 where you can set it to automatically just come on when your screen goes off or is a manual thing where you have to set it each time you want to.

you will have to edit the skin.xml file in the skin folder of TL, change the clock format from HH:mm to hh:mm. you can use a program call total commander to do this.

For total commander, the guy above me said I needed that to change my TP Throttlelocker theme clock format from like Military time to standard time.

But that is what I need then. And he said edit the skin.xml file correct? Anything I need to change it to? Or will TC give me an option?

And my other question that I asked him that he didn't get a chance to answer is, like S2U2 and you could set it to come on really whenever you wanted...is throttle locker, or can you set TL the same way, or can it only be activated when you select the program? Couldn't see anything that I could change in its config. settings
