My Rom is based off of Xip 20931.1.5.0 with some stuff removed some added...all and all very stable...I would forst and foremost like to thank colonel, GGurUSA, and no2chem. With out them none of this would be possible..

there is a problem with the touch pro being able to announce incoming calls with voice commander. the following registry tweek is needed as a patch. it still doesn't work 100% correctly but it's better than nothing (this solution was taken from a posting at ppcgeeks - http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...command&page=4)

The problem with the call announcement on the TP doesn't appear to be with Voice Command, but possibly with the phone software on the TP - since Voice Command is generating the announcement file - it's just not being played.

The following registry changes might partially restore the call announcement, a short-term solution until something better comes along:

HKCU\ControlPanel\Sounds\TTSAnnounce\Category: change VoiceCommand1 to Ring
HKCU\ControlPanel\Sounds\TTSAnnounce\Script: change as5p to v0p (for vibrate and ring) or p (for ring only)

With this change, the ringtone will start - and then be interrupted with the calller ID/name announcement. (Assuming that call announcement has been enabled in Voice Command).

Only major flaw with this solution is that the announcement volume is low.

Ehhh...fair enough man, Only flashed once before to Hibbys and it was hotlinked to rapidshare. MOst of the other stuff I grabbed has been as well...just wante dto be sure, but as I said...pretty obvious question...boting it up now...thanks much for your hardwork on this man!

i dragged the raphimg.nba into my storage card
it is not in any folder just on the card
i tried it didnt work
where can i find the ruu to copy this into it?

Ive literally been up for hours and am having the same problem.. ive even googled how to do it and I have no luck.. holla atcha boy... thanks in advance for all the help that's on the way...

I've unlocked the phone downloaded everything .. downloaded the RUU file but it says that their is nothing on my computer that can open the file.. on the download page it is a white sheet of paper and says RUU_signed.nbh 121mb

Then when i double cllick on it it says that the file is either in an unknown format or damaged...

yo, you dont click on it, just copy it to your memory card and rename it to RAPHIMG.nbh

dash has how to flash on it profile.

take the file you downloaded(RUU_singned.nbh) drag into attachement below and run the ROMupdateUtility.exe thats inside the folder and follow the steps on your computer. hope that helps

have you flashed before? it's not a signed exe. you have to use the RUU to get installed. your phone has to be unlocked first, then you need to put into bootloader..

there are several steps.

not for me, it entered by itself, just ran the exe from the ruu. im used to flashin via sd but cant find my spare and not whipping my 8gb, to much on there.

Correct. The romupdateutility will put the phone in bootloader mode for you. You do not need to manually do it.

Ive tried a lot of things... this is what ive done...
Ive unlocked my phone already...
I placed and renamed that file and formated my sd card.
I downloaded all those RUU.zip, HermanRuu, even update utility, they all are the samething but everytime i try to drag that RUU_signed.nbh file over i get a screen that says active name and parameter and everytime i click on one of the options it delets everyting in the folder... is there anything like a program that can read a .nbh file or something.... cus ive been at this thing for hours...

The RUU is just a folder. It has a couple files in it including romupdateutility, and a signed nbh file in it already. All you do is copy (try right clicking and selecting copy) kaos' nbh and then open the RUU folder and right click inside and select paste. Then select either copy and replace, or overwrite current, or whatever your computer pops up. After that, make sure your activsynced with your comp, and hit the romupdateutility and follow the onscreen instructions. Hope this way works for you

i wish that would work. when i copy and paste the rapidshare link in a new window it downloads and when it is completely downloaded there isn't a folder that downloads it reads RUU_signed.nbh... i try to open it and it says can't open it becasue it might be damaged or something it says the archiver is either in an unknown format or damaged...

Nah bro you dont open the nbh. You open the RUU folder. Its totaly different from the nbh file. Do you have the RUU folder?
