How to Hard Reset your TouchPro
 

I looked around and couldn't find this for possible noobs or just unknowing users new to the Touch Pro on how to truely perform a hard reset.

The phone must be OFF to perform a hard reset.

To perform a hard reset:

1. With the device turned off, press and hold the Volume Down and Enter keys first, and then press and hold the Power key until you see the following message on the screen:

This operation will delete
all your personal data,
and reset all settings
to manufacturer default.
Press VolUp to restore
manufacturer default, or
press other keys to cancel.

2. Release the Volume Down, Enter, and Power keys, and then press the Volume Up key to perform the hard
reset, or press any other button to cancel the reset.

all i did wuz went into setting,system,and memery and it gives u an option to clear storage,this worked the same way without having to turn the phone off

ya and is of no help at all when you have a bad flash...the true hard reset sometimes is the only way to fix those problems...

on sprint you have to hold the power button also

i keep trying this but it wont reset when i push up or down on the volume

you have to press and hold the power button, volume down, and center key while soft resetting... don't let go just keep holding and make sure that you aren't pressing anything or touching the d-pad since that wont allow you to hard reset than... or go to start/settings/system and go to clear storage and that's the same thing.
