I am using this myself on my TouchPro and all gif's animate nicely. Let me know what you think!!!!


1. copy any.gif to S2U2/gfx folder
2. rename any.gif to “Wallpaper.gifà ƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã‚
3. Start S2U2 Settings
4. Change “File/Directory (Portrait) to “option 2″
5. Override GIF speed turn off
6. JPG Changes options turn of
7. Save Settings
8. Start S2U2… : )

ummm... scottt... i dont think this is for vga as the animated pic size show the sizes for qvga... please confirm so i can move to the appropriate place.

i think you got it right BJ, i downloaded and put a couple on my touch pro and they worked, but the animation was super fast, i had to set the gif speed to 1 to see them and the pics only took up about a 1/4 of the screen...but they do work, they only look like thumbnails of pics on s2u2 for vga

would that explain why when I do the instructions said above I gets nothing on my s2u2 screen? and I have the touch diamond but one of them did work but I cant get anymore to do the same.

you may want to update your profile if you have the diamond and yes that would be why they dont work on your diamond since they are formatted for the qvga screen size.

well thanks dash. but I did tell you that one of the .gif animations did work. the black spiderman one. but after I tried switching it then i can't get it to work. it showed up as a thumbnail. was that a glitch or mistake and how do you explain that.?

I have used the majority of these on my pro and they all work. They are just a little smaller than what you would expect seeing how apparently they are QVGA. When you drag the file from your PC to your device one thing to look out for is that somehow the file doesn't or didn't get renamed to another file type. Meaning that the file needs to be *.gif. Let me know what process you're using to change what picture is used so that I can better assist you.
