has anyone been able to successfully google maps so we dont have to use a data connection?

ha, i was trying to edit but it had been more than 5 minutes.

i meant successfully save google maps eg maps of certain cities etc so we dont need to use the EvDo data connection

that would require an intensive amount of memory and most probably in a single view (no zoom in or zoom out) plus the maps are constantly updated and the actual gps satellites you link with use your data connection to fix your coordinates in reference to the mapping programming for you to be able to utilize them. It needs the net to use your position with an actual map to accurately show you a relative fixed position. Sorry
