Phone Freezing While Charging
 

So now this problem has gotten to a point where i can't take it anymore. About once a week my phone freezes overnight while charging. The charging light (the circle) stays on even after I have unplugged it and then I have to remove the battery and then put it back in to turn it on again. This sucks when you use your phone as an alarm clock and then it freezes in the middle of the night. This first started on the stock rom with no mods. Since this problem happened I have flashed to 2 other roms and the freezing issue still occurs. So this must be a hardware problem. Has anyone else experienced this problem or heard of this happening?

ya use to happen to me bout once a week as well... i flashed to custom rom and havn't had the problem since....do you have TEP?

I would call sprint and talk to them because if its happing after the custom rom then its something in the hardware. How long have you had the phone before I talk TEP

its a known problem on the touch pro and the diamond so at this point they will do nothing about it besides say its a known problem and they are working on a fix or a patch.

Ok, well thanks for the responses. I got the phone right when it came out, so its been a couple of months i think. Maybe I'll try the new MightRom that has new battery drivers.

i would stay clear from that rom. its not here since mighty was ripping off of another persons rom and calling his own without giving credit.

Well then I'm definetly going back to Juicy's ROM. Thanks for the help.

i was also having this problem with my diamond, i took it to my local sprint repair shop. they told me that it was a program that i had on it. all i had was the S2U2 locker, and would not even look at it unless it only had the sprint rom and no programs on it, that it is designed to run it only (BS) ive tryed everything i guess ill just wait for a rom update from htc

ya don't go in there with a custom rom cause they can void your TEP cause of it. Make sure when you go in to hard reset on stock rom, But if your still havin problems after switchin back to the other rom, you def need to take it in.
