i'm just saying, its so soon after the first release and we're already heading towards 'take 2', (which i'm sure will also test the performance limits of the pro much to junkie's delight). These "issues" to be fixed must be getting under his skin. Or maybe he's just a perfectionist. What do I know?

I'm in. Let me know what I can do to help.

BTW. Do you have any idea why my screen has stopped going "blank" or into "screen saver mode". I've been playing with the power settings, soft booting, but no look, i Need to manually turn hit the power button to turn the screen off.

The screen seems to go "dim" after the time period I have set in the power settings - but not blank.

This just burns the battery which blows. Any ideas?

turn the time lower.... that will stay bight for that long before it goes dim and all.... it will only stay dim for about 5-10 seconds depending on rom.

ok ill make a long sad story short....got new chip for my lappy...you guys know ive been trying to redo my system for week....damn thing wouldn't take....for some reason to come find out my burner burns and reads some fine...but wont read a os disc it burns...i fixed that by stealing my girls from her lappys and replacing hers with mine...lol i ordered new one as well...but system is up finally...going over some small upgrades...i backed up my ppc kitchen folders.....so i just gotta get down to that...ill have a prototype out by the weekend...oh ya plus to top it off....I've had a really bad viral infection...sick as all hell...but feeling better now....i think doctor order 7 days off helped...tomorrow i have work...ugh then weekend off i believe...

Hopefully it will be out when I got my replacement touch pro. I did the smart thing of leaving it in my pocket and ran it through the washer and the dryer for a few minutes. On the bright side, it is so fresh and so clean but on the not so bright side I had to borrow this gay pink samsung for the meantime til mine gets here. they said they are out of stock. Anyway, I will be looking forward to putting kaos' rom on there first.

Ha. You know my 8gb card survived. the phone even powers up and everything but i cant see anything. just for the hell of it, i was told to try and put in a bowl of rice to see if it would absorb the rest of the moisture that might be in there. gonna check it today to see if its gotten better. guess this phone can really take a lickin just dont know if its gonna keep tickin. lol

little note...next time microwave it...for around 15 seconds...battery out...it will fry the board and not melt the plastic.If you do it for a short of enough time....

I posted the following on the first beta rom thread, but never received a response from anyone... I'm still trying to figure this one out... If it's just something specific to this rom, Kaos, could we expect a fix in the next release? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!


Has anyone figured out the issue of not being able to bring up ms voice command with the call button on the wired htc headset? I've mapped the send/hold button to MSVC. It works fine with the call button on the phone itself and even with the call button on my bluetooth devices, but for some reason, it doesn't work on the stock htc wired headset... It's really weird... I know some others have had this problem here but I don't think it was fully addressed. I've re-installed the MSVC cab posted here, and it came up with some errors during installation, but the app does work after reset..., except for this... The basic call/redial function DOES work on the wired headset, but the voice command activation does not... Anyone?

i don't doubt your claim. But my next was built for me.....I am releasing to be nice....lol beside you can always add it... I am basing next one on tweaks as before and more performance..actually relasing 2 version. one with touchflo3d and one without...I know people are going to say wtf without..but you know what.Some like different ui. so its a raw as rom. But slick like rick.....

yeah, i hear u on that. some ppl dont like tf3d and use other apps instead. but i like it, esp with sum bad ass themes.

I'd love to see a release with out the TouchFlo incluced. I"ve moved to Swcked software..

I've been having some quirky issues with the phone and want to reimage and rebuild ,but would like to start with your new release if possible. What's the latest ETA on the new ROM?
