Wireless security

My question is how safe are the data transmissions sent from these phones? I have a HTC-6800 and a Touch both used for banking, stock trading and various online transactions. Guess I was wondering if there is a security platform that I should or can be using. I do clear cookies and cache often but that's it. I use IE, opera, and skyfire for broswers, I dont use skyfire for anything but surfing.

What brought my concern on is that I was working at a customers house and he had a scanner on that intercepted phone calls. Very disturbing but Very Very intertaining. In this fairly small town I found out in a very short time some very intimate happenings of local intrest. I since am now watching what I say over the phone, but if voice is vulnerable so isnt data?

data will always be accessible. when we create something to block it someone will find a way to get around that.... you could still go with personal stuff over the internet but i would be sure to delete the cookies and all other important stored features from the phone. Voice off of phone is easier to intercept than data.. voice can be intercepted easily just like on a walki-talkie for example... all you need to know is the frequency and than your good... hope this helps a little bit for you.

yes, nod32 has one and so does synamtics for the ppc.... we have the full versions here of them.... they will also protect you against virus's which really doesnt matter since the only ppc virus made to date was jsut to prove that it could be done.
