Windows 61 upgrade/Vito SMS Problem
 

Here is the deal...

I just upgraded to Windows Mobile 6.1, then I upgraded Vito SMS to 1.16.

Now all my texts still show up in my SMS\MMS folder as well as in the Vito software. My last version of Vito did not do that. Is there something I can do?

have you soft reset the phone? im not familiar with the app since i havent used it in forever.... why not just use the stock threaded sms.... having both the stock and vito sounds a little redundant to me...

I did the soft reset. On the stock threaded sms only the people thats texting me's conversation shows up are in the inbox, all the ones I have sent are in the sent folder.

It's not like Vito where yoo can see what u texted and what they texted all on the same screen. I have the Save Sent Messages tab checked.

If you upgraded roms then stock has threaded sms because threaded sms is when you have like a conversation and it shows what each of you have writed and you might want to check setting to see about if threaded sms is on

Looked through the sms options and dont see anything about threaded sms option. It has a threaded conversation but only from the sender

have you tried to uninstall the other sms program/soft reset and than test?

Yea i seen this before. In that case, it was the other mms app conflicting with the stock software. So try like dash said and un-install the vito then soft reset then test again:)

i am extremely familiar with the app. in my opinion there is none better for sms. what your seeing is that the 1.15 version was integrated with a setting that had all actual sms not only go straight to the app but straight to your devices recycle bin. (i loved this as well). this update does not boast this option and i believe that its because most people were found to prefer to not delete their texts and wanted to keep them. the app for some strange reason, however, did not include proper reg changes to have this work without the actual app begin to clutter an unexpected amount of space (especially if installed to device and not a storage card and because of the incredible amount people text these days) this inturn both would make it unstable because win 6.x would no longer recognize the texts and delete them at 50 texts (win default) and because of the apps scrolling fuction would be unstable trying to keep up with vitos very functionally smooth scrolling speed and there being literally hundreds of texts trying to load as such. sorry. its still the best in my opinion and i doubt i'll ever change.

Ok, removed Vito and did a soft reset. Now the stock messaging system has threaded messages.

I still like Vitos software better,

Installed the older version of Vito and now my messages dont show up in both programs, they only show up in Vito.
