Direct Push
 

i searched and found nothing.

I have a mogul and i just got a bluetooth adapter for my computer to transfer files that way. im trying to transfer a file and my computer wont send it to my phone. it let me send one from my phone to my computer, but when i try to send it from my computer i get this error...

"If you sent the file to another computer, that computer must be running the Bluetooth File Transfer Wizard. If you sent the file to a Bluetooth device, make sure the OBEX File Push Profile is installed."

...im not really sure what OBEX File Push is. is that Microsoft Direct Push? if so how do i enable it? ive tried searching on google, but none of them are using vista..which is what im using. any help would be great. thanks. Love this site!

ok after a little more searching..it may be because i dont have the bluetooth bundle installed? i dont know where to find this. i searched on here and it looks like the search function is down right now because nothing is coming up.

you should just set up your phone so it syncs up to your PC through activesync through bluetooth. This way you can just browse your phone the same way you would as if it were wired to the computer.

yeah that woulda be sweet. how would i do that? i would search but searching isnt working. im pretty sure i am connected to active sync but my phone doesnt show up in my computer. when i go to the settings for the bluetooth connection on my phone it says activesync...any ideas?

Go to activsync in your phone, select menu, then select connect via bluetooth. Then you can just follow the onscreen prompts:)

sweet man thanks...i always forget activesync is a program on the phone haha. i feel dumb now. but thanks again. works great. much better than a cord. a lil slower but not bad.
