Backgrounds Soft Keys and Hard Keys
 

Hey guys. I've been trying to find this somewhere but no luck.


First Question. Can you change the background of the tabs you slide to? It's hard to explain so I have a picture. That default blue circle is ugly and I was wondering if you can change it to something else (see attachment.)

Next question. Can you edit your bottom left and bottom right soft keys on your today screen? Like with Reg Edit or Adv Config? Or something else?

Next question. In "start->settings->buttons" i see you can change holding your send key to something you want (i think this is called mapping?) but can you change any other hard keys when they're held?

Yeah you probably on the default theme that comes with the Pro is you use the sidebar and put a custom theme will change the look for you.

Yes you can change your softkeys if you where not to be using the touchflo 3d there is app for it Here Not sure on the Pro but almost i all ppc's i have playing your can change the keys an what they do. When in the key mapping it will tell you what you can change

Yeah but can you change the background without having to install a theme? Like I have the carbon TFL3D theme installed but I want the background changed on those other tabs ya know?

Yeah I've seen this. I guess I should have said Can you change the soft keys while using the TFL3D interface?

To change the background go to the Settings tab>wallpaper. If you want to have that wallpaper on all tabs just download mUn_BackGround4AllPages_v.02. Just do a search.


To change the softkeys you can use diamond tweak, it gives you an option to change them.

Ahh hell yes you helped. I found that background 4 All Pages .cab and its BEAUTFIUL.

I'm still gonna look for the Diamond Tweak you're talking about...you're not talking about the Diamond TFL3D Config Tool right?

Hey, I've been looking for that Diamond Tweak and the background for all pages apps, but I'm not having any luck learching for it. I found the TF3D Config tool, but I don't know if it's the same as the Diamond Tweak app. Can someone point me in the right direction for these two apps? Thanks in advance!

attached for you.
if you are running a custom rom you may not need so check first if this is needed.... if you are on stock this will be needed though for sure.

How about the Diamond Tweak app? is it the same as TF3D COfig Tool? yes I'm still running a stock rom. I probably wont ROM my phone for a little while till I get settled in a little bit.

How about the hard keys question? Is there anyway to map psShutxp to the end key (long press) In settings they only have like three options.

yes you can map it you go to start/settings/buttons/ than choose the button and change the dropdown to what you want and than that button will be mapped to that application..... you can also get a more involved version of that same thing it does stock called aebutton

The first option didn't work because the only button that it has available to map is the send key(Hold)...and I use that for voice command it. I downloaded aebutton plus doesn't allow you to map the end button....there is an option for the red button.....but there isn't a red button on the pro and that didn't work....other ideas? Thanks Dash.

In AE Button the 'Red' Key is the END button. I know because I've mapped it with AE button for different things at different times.

your right....but have you ever mapped anything to the end key (long)......I was able to map apps to the end key on 1 hit but not on the hold.....it's ok tho because I see that you can map things to 3 taps of the end key and thats what I'm going to do. Thanks

No, you're right. No long mode on the end key, but I guess I was just thinking of the double and triple tap.
