Need a Little Help

Hello Everyone. I have a program that is Java based. I receive an error window when I try to install it that says invalid Pocket PC App. I'm really not sure how or where to get a good emulator and to install it. Any Suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

In general, we'd need more specifics/details to help, like what kind of file/format...

but speaking from experience it sounds like it's an exe file and not a cab... cabs can be installed directlly onto your device, but to install an exe file, you need to run it from you PC through active sync (or something similar)
and itll intall it onto your device automatically.

another possibility is that it was compressed as an rar file (which is like a zip file but usually larger and more complex) in which case you would need to unrar it w/ a program like pocket rar(for ppc) or winrar (for pc)

Also if your lookin for another java platform or emulator, there are pllenty on this site... just do a search... personally i like the "Titan pro java emulator" for the touch and mogul, but thats a pretty large app and seein as you got a mogul you dont have as much internal memory as I... in which case you may wanna go with the "esmertic Jbed" Java platform

Yep, or it could be a jar(java) file, and if you dont have a java emulator installed, it wont run. Java emulators are freeware and can be found anywhere. Just google "ppc java emulators" and you will have a ton to choose from.
