HTC Touch Diamond Light Saber v1.0 (Freeware)
Requirements: HTC Touch Diamond/Pro/HD
Overview: This is a light saber application for the HTC Touch Diamond/Pro/HD. It uses the accelerometer to control the figthing sounds when you swing the phone and has background music.

Light your saber by just sliding up with your finger.

Much better graphics than seen on other Light Sabers for Windows mobile.

Features:
- Extractable light saber.
- Figthing sounds.
- Background Music.
- More to come.

Keep in mind that this is a proof of concept so there's still some minor fixes like better button graphics and stuff.

Note from the developer (Esben R. Rasmussens):
Be aware of that, to prevent a minor bug i have been forced to switch from .mp3 to .wav format. This makes the program rather large (in WM device scale) so remember to install the application on the Internal Storage.

Installed on my Sprint Touch Pro running juggalo's rom and this app works beautiful...no disrespect to the developer of the light saber app included in the organized cab collection but this one is more rounded and I love the music part(its got better music than the iphones saber app)

That's strange. I'm also running Juggalo's rom and the damn thing doesn't seems to respond at all to any movements. The first lightsaber app seemed to work with no problems.

Hey everyone... just curious...

Ive seen this app around before (or similar ones), and Im wondering whats the point (no offense)

i just dont get what it does... is it like a way to make your phone into a flashlight, or is it like a starwars game, and whenever you run into another person w/ it on there phone you can have a light sber fight, or just some kool looking and sounding image/ screen saver? I mean what?

Yah i im using the sprint touch pro on Jews rom and i dont get any movement from my flailing arm, but the music is cool as hell.

It is just a novelty that shows of the gsensor in diamond and touch pro phones.. nothing more.

I wish there were options or something that you could change around like the other lightsaber app.

Maybe even.. enable the accelerometer to work with it.

so the app worked right after i installed it and then, after reading your post I went to see if it was still working and now it is no longer working for me :-( too bad cause this app is way more polished than the other one

read the big letters that say requirements...........if your profile is correct and you have the mogul it will not work.

i installed it and when i try to run it i get an error message that says: " this app requires newer version of the microsft.net compact frame work than the version installed on this device". i just got this touchpro last week. the whip app worked but the lightsaber and the magick8ball wont work.

you need compact framework 3.5...you can get it from the microsoft website for free

yuppers, just make sure you get the ppc version and not the pc version and it will be big but will overwrite the stock files that come reinstalled on your device.

went to microsoft.com and they have a sh!tlo@d of compact framework 3.5 available...not sure which would be the right one...anyone have a cabfile for it????

i dont think it comes in a cab file and as long as it says for ppc or smartphone you will be fine...... you just cant have it say for windows pc. and you can find it by using the search feature to the right of the banner just type in framework or .net framework.
