Is there a way

I just got my touch pro yesterday(Loveit) But i have a brand new touch in the box and my buddy wants to buy it. He has a pre paid at&t account. His phone also uses a sim card but is there a way i can make the touch work for him by changing the esn? Dont know why he uses prepaid but if i can sell the phone cool. Thanks for any help.

The boyfriend has his phone unlocked and tried putting his previous older version SIM card in the phone (but I think it's a Nextel SIM from a phone that used direct connect) and it didn't work? So how would you do that? get like a "free phone" with Sprint, you know like renewing his contract, then the newer phone would come with a Sprint card, and then it would work in his unlocked Iphone???? GOTTA KNOW, THIS WOULD BE AWESOME FOR HIM! and how would that work on the data package stuff and all? I mean would he actually have to have a sprint smartphone that has those capabilities with the data pkg and then take the SIM to the Iphone for it to work?

Sprint doesn't use sim cards, everything is built into the device. But with the unlocked iphone on sprint I believe everything will work just off of the sprint data plan. the iphone has to be "super hacked" and if you go to youtube and find the vid, in the description it will give you a website to go to with instructions.
