sms sent notication sound
 

i having trouble with my text sent notification sound. before, everytime i sent a text message there would be a pop up and a sound that let me know that my message was successfully sent. now, there's the pop up only and no sound..how do i enable the sound again

well either your phone is on silent or you messed with the notifications settings....go to settings/notifications &sounds....and find sent messages....and choose your sound....hope that helps.

my phone is not on silent, and when i go to settings/sounds & notifications there is no text sent option....any other ideas on what it could be?

idk to be honest with you. i hate that feature and i dont use it....are you on stock rom...custom rom, if so which rom, carrier....and if im not mistaken, the sent and received notify sound should be the same....but again...i dont use that feature....

You need to go to start/settings/sounds and notifications. Then click the notifications tab...the first drop down arrow shows events...., click that .. Then Slelect Messaging: NEW text message from the drop down. Then make sure play sound is selected...and make sure you have a alert of sound in the drop down arrow for play sound..

hmmmm....there lies your first problem.... stock= SUCK....lol...you try a soft reset?

i've already tried the settings/sounds and notifications.....that all works fine, i get a message alert when i recieve a text....it's just i want the sound notification when i send a text....and yes, i've already tried a soft reset too

i dunno what the prob could be... +1 on a flashing to a custom one... and i hate hearing the sound when i message is sent.. i send so many its so annoying... i only care about the noise it makes if it cannot sent the message... but then again thats just me and to each their own.

why dont you just use diamond tweaks and disable it?

naw dash, he wants it enabled....but the sent notification sound doesnt work anymore....
