• Send SMS button - tap and hold, select MMS (multimedia message) - changes the button to send an MMS to the number instead of SMS

finally... been waiting for this, looks great on VGA

i just went to options and unchecked the "handle incoming calls" and "override send key" options cuz the caller id feature wouldnt let me pick up the damn phone lol (i like slide2answer anyways)

running on 6800, contacts are fast and programs runs badass. This has to be the best today plugin with looks and functionality, that ive ever used. You even have an exit for contacts. Wow ty sir for finding.

hey. program works great. faster than any contact app iv used on my titan and the sms is faster than vito chat but looks and runs just as sweet. one question, how do u change the display time from military to standard on the today plugin?

Has anybody found any skins for this app? Very quick and responsive.....but only comes with default green skin.

obviously still in beta testing because there is a pretty serious glitch....when you click on a contact and press call mobile......instead of calling your contact your phone settings come up. SO.....I guess I will be uninstalling until this if fixed....and we find some themes

I too uninstalled... I didnt notice that glitch, and it seemed pretty smooth easy to use on my pro, but ultimatly, to... it was kind of an eyesore, and didnt really mesh well w/ the sleek and sexy style of the pro...lol.... mad me feel liike I was on stock qvga platform again...

Maybe when there some more skins for this, ill go back and give'r a fair shake...

there is no glitch. thats not something they would overlook. all you have to do is go to the options and for the send key, put dont override.

I did do that.....I'm not talking about even pressing the send key....once your in the program and you choose a contact and then choose call mobile the settings/phone screen comes up....I tested it over and over and that was the result that I got.....I checked the settings and saw nothing to correct it

I ended up with the same problem (going to phone settings)...about drove myself batty reading and adjusting settings...interesting delimma....looks very nice and seems easy to use outside of that problem...

One thing that I have noticed...checking the screen versus what I see on my laptop (description photos from Resco) is that on the Today plug-in screen it shows a green dot under the phone, indicating (to me) that the phone is activated through Resco CM...On my phone, I do not get the green dot...What I am thinking is that for some reason, it is NOT activating the phone or getting the right setting automatically ( I am trying to learn, but this is above my head)....

This release came in just hours from being the same day as the last release. And my apologies. I attempted to do the same actions as priorly mentioned myself with the same result. That is one hell of an overlooked bug.

This newer version must be installed via activesync.

I just tried the .95 beta from Resco with the same result. Used Active sync to get form PC to phone. On the "Today" screen the bluetooth and flight modes will both now light up when activated, but the phone icon still does not light up. When tapped on the phone and then "Enter PIN" option comes up, heads straight to phone settings again.

Do any of the files need to be placed in the "Window/Startup" folder perhaps? I have given this my best shot...hopefully someone smarter than me can figure it out.

I just checked the developers website.... Beta .96 is now available...I don't have time to work with it now, but I might be able to later. Otherwise if someone has some time, the .96 is out. GOOD LUCK! :yahoo:

Dam........The glitch is still there I just tried .96 fav speed dial and it took me to the phone settings. Thats the only problem with this app IMO

agreed - Im really lovin this app, it's very responsive, i would really like some other skins but i can deal with the default unless someone knows where to get some...
Using this app it made me realize it's not my phone (htc Touch) that is unresponsive... it's WM6.1!!! even with a resistive touch screen it's still very responsive with certain apps.

The main problem is the fact that you can't call out it drove me nuts when i was trying earlier (the whole time i'm thinking i'm glad it's not an emergency). i just disabled the send out override and am using the WM dial out until they get it fixed.

the way I've got it figured is that a company of programmers wouldn't miss something as big as this and most likely intentionally made it that way so that when they release the first non-beta format of the program that those who liked it and want a full working version will then have to purchase it......................until we get ahold of it, that is! :glasses1:

does the 1.0 finally fix that call out issue? I added the 9.8 and Swcked shell... and the last few times i've gotten calls i couldn't answer the phone freaked out and froze up -

i uninstalled resco contact manager and haven't had a problem - i hope they work out some of the issue because it's a nice program.

The issue isn't resolved I just tested it and its not working on my Touch Pro but you guys try it out maybe theres a fix Im not aware of and if anyone gets it working please post what you did I will play with it at work tonight just in case theres some old setting from one of the betas thats screwing everything up.

I think you misunderstood what I meant......I was talking about sometime when you delete a program on your phone it leaves a folder with settings or other files that can conflict when you try to install an update of the same problem Wisbar do this alot.....So I was going to make sure all the beta folders were removed from my phone before trying the new update

Well it never ceases to amaze. So I ran through the developer's site user's forums to see what kind of feedback they were supplying resco with and apparently there are more threads than words in this run on sentence of mine from htc users complaining about the same issue we have experienced here. So they've known about it and then released the 1.o final version thinking that it might work. WRONG!!! However the good news is that. one, there is nothing wrong with your device, and two they will have the 2.0 out very shortly (and we should have it for free shortly after) because they are taking a lot of sluff for this more than slight oversight. Hold strong and I'll keep you updated as is the norm.

Hmm...got it up and running and got the keygen, but i am having the devils own time getting the KG to work...got it transferred to the folder and execute it. the applicatoin section is blank...at the bottom it says in red, "N DB file or it's broken"....Type in my Owner ID and hit generate and it says "Invalid RPN String". any suggestions? Prolly something i am just overlooking. thanks

I don't know if you've figured this out since it's been a few days, but just in case, it looks like you're not choosing the application. Where the 'application' is blank is actually a drop down menu. Pick the Contact Manager App and then type in your owner name and then generate.

That was one little detail that I forgot to add....the drop down menu was completely empty....I will probably give it another shot...I am evaluating another app currently and will see what comes of it....TY

I see, I would download again, because it works for most people. If that doesn't do it, try turning your anti-virus off when you're about to run the keygen, sometimes they get in the way, although in this case, it doesn't sound like that's your problem. This is by far my fav contacts app so far, and I have tried several. Most are good, but this is really good. Good luck.

My apologies. I had a momentary (ok for a few days) anal-cranial inversion. I had been kinda running on auto pilot and didnt load it via ActiveSync, just loaded the cab files onto my card. DUH! Once I did that everything few along just as it should. Liking it so far! TY
