A Toronto man has been the first to get an eyeball tattoo. Basically, he has turned the whites of his eyes blue.

Corneal tattooing is usually used for patients that have had trauma to their eye, not for this, which is called body modification.

It took 40 injections of blue ink in order to complete this procedure. Pigment was injected under the top layer of the eye using a syringe. The syringe injected the ink into the eye. At first they had tried a traditional needle with ink on it, but when the ink didn't hold, they switched to the syringe.

The man has reported that all is well so far, but it feels like he has something in his eye.

OH HELL NO!!!!! I still prefer to avert my eyes when getting a shot. Not quite sure how that would work in this instance. And did you read the post as well? Over 40 shots he endured in that one eye for this. I repeat......OH HELL NO!!!

I so totally agree with Scott!!! HELLO NOOOOO!!! A syringe IN MY EYE!!! ummm, yea, again I second the "not a big fan of needles" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's just stupid, but does match his stupid looking thing on his forehead..........LMAO!! he will be the only TOTAL BLUE EYED android thing (or whatever they are) at the next Star Wars convention!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok so where are the pics of those???? I have the so eloquently called "tramp stamp" and then one wrapped around my right ankle, big yellow flower with the stems all wrapping around and then two small butterflies above the flower.............yea it's pretty sweet!!!

Hah... u buggin?!! Shit for that Ill just have some cornea color contacts made and just rock those, at least i can take em out... but beyond that, like most have said... u aint puttin no f***in needle in my eye... needle, syringe, w/e... aint gunna happen!

i'm never gonna get mistaken for manicured, but did you see the nails in the first pic. did the guy just get done gardening and go strait to tattooing? i'm glad someone finally had the bright idea to put some gloves on!

Tat's are all good, I love mine and they have meaning to them, but this is more of a crazy deranged obsession. Just my feel, because I think theirs crazy and stupid. I'll jump out of a plane with a chute and many might think that's crazy, however jumping out of a plane w/o one is stupid. I rest my case :D lol
