MASPware GuardMobile v1093292

MASPware GuardMobile v1.09.3292

MASPware GuardMobile is a security- and controlsystem for Windows Mobile devices. Its a silent, hidden program, which (e.g. after a thievery) executes commands remotely initiated by the device owner.

http://i40.tinypic.com/smuaah.gif

Protect your device and data! Even after a thievery.
Here an application example:
Imaging, your cellular windows mobile device has been stolen. What can you do now?

* You can initiate an alarm and lock the device
* You can locate your device (GPS receiver is required)
* If your stolen device contains top secret data, you can do a hardreset remotely to erase all data! (Use carfully!)
* You can initiate a callback to overhear the thief

How does GuardMobile work?
The device owner installs and configures GuardMobile. He sets an arbitrary device PIN and adds cellular numbers, which can control this device, to totally prevent abuse. After activation, the program stays "silently" in background until its asked to do some action.
Since every device supports SMS nowadays, the whole communication is done via SMS, which means you can control your device using any other cellular phone (no Windows Mobile required!). No internet access is necessary. The device replies all actions with a confirmation SMS.

Features:
* Very tiny, fast and "silent" program
* integrated client application to control other devices
* runs hidden in the background. It even survives softresets.
* it can be removed completely by the device owner
* infocard (PDF) for printing (all commands for your pocket)
* device location
* activation/deactivation of screenlock
* activation/deactivation keylock
* alarm (loud beeps and vibration) activation/deactivation
* initiate callback
* initiate soft/hardreset (please use with caution!)

Looks like something that'll find a home on my device. Never know when someone wants to snatch up your phone when you aren't looking.

--------- New Post Merged on 11/2/2009 at 12:34:03 --------

Update: I can confirm this works 100 percent. I thought it was so cool with the callback feature that lets you send a remote command to make the stolen phone dial back your phone and you can listen to everything the thief says.

Alarm works, location works, soft reset works, Im sure hard reset works too but i didn't have the balls to try it.. 100 %!!! TY TY

great app!!! I love the call back feature.

wish there was a way to have the keylock feature come on exclusively for this app. I hate having locks on all the time ie: throttle lock or stock pin pad.

Yeah thanks for the feedback! I put it to the test myself and it goes pretty hardcore. And one of the better plus sides of the app is that it's quite a bit more user friendly than the other similiar apps that i've seen posted.

Thanks for the app! I've DL'd the .rar and opened the keygen but I don't know where to find the device id to generate a serial. Any help??

its a keygen.... all you have to do is use your owners name from start/settings/personal/owners information.... it is case sensative so type it in exactly how you have it in there.

you have to go to settings/personal/owner info on your device and see what you have as your name that you put for your device. You then run the keygen on your pc and enter that name in the provided area and click on generate and that will be your key.

Re: MASPware GuardMobile v1093292

Couple people might not have mentioned that you actually have to set a owner name as well. You cannot use the program if you don't have any set at all.

The keygen is what creates your valid registration ID for free... why wouldnt you want too... most apps that have a keygen, generally mean that it needs to be registerd in order to have it either fully, or partially working with all features... if it didnt have to me registerd there'd be no need for a keygen...

i go to minimize and it works without any troubles...... have you tried a soft reset? and also did you make it into the full version or are you still running the trial?

Re: MASPware GuardMobile v1093292

like the description says you add the numbers that you want to be sending the prompts from...... they will not work unless you add that phone number to the list..... so if you do loose your phone or get it stolen all you have to do is go to one of the numbers that you added to your list and send a text message with the #passcode# than what you want it to do.

I just "X" out of the program and it still works for me.

goes behind the bar? what are you talking about? that screen after you minimize isnt supposed to show so they arent alerted and all.......... you dont want the program to be easily accessible........if it is running in the background without you seeing it your good to go :>
