[ ISSUE SOLVED ] fubar vogue
 

my vogue crapped out, all of a sudden tonight it just started rebooting and i have taken battery out, left off for 30 minutes and it is fubar. this is my only phone and i have been with sprint over a year. if i went into a sprint store tommorrow what do u think would happen. i have insurance but not alot of cash now hadnt planned on getting a phone but this is all i got. any advice...

hard reset your phone... itll wipe your memory, but if u back everything up w/ pim backup (or something similar) youll be fine... just; after u hard reset, take ur time as u add different apps, to see what kinda impact each has before another weird app conflicts happens...

if you have the insurance with sprint and asurion you will be covered and they will have to fix it or give you a different one....... so no money should go out of pocket..... and have you tried to reflash a rom to the phone after you manually place it in bootloader to see what that does?

Also... just out of curiousity... have you flash your phone w/ a custom rom? Because if you have, and you go into a sprint store, with like that... they probably wont do much to help you, beyond blaming you for it, and saying theyre not liable and TEP or INS wont cover that...
Matter of fact they may even try and charge you for a replacement or something... so just be careful of that... again this is only if your phone has been unlocked and flashed custom...

right but if they cant get the phone to boot (and trust me they dont know manual bootloader mode) than they wont be able to tell...... the best thing at this point if she still cant get it to boot at flashing or trying to relock the bootloader at least is to just let it chill and bring it into a store. i know that the sotre wont be able to figureit out and if they do fix it than they will know it is a custom but hell its fixed at least right lmao......

it wouldnt let me even flash, i took out battery and left it out for couple hours then put it back and now its fine, think maybe got wet from rain yesterday maybe? thanks for all your help, i checked asurion and it looks like it just the mogul but i am getting my pro next month so just need the phone to last till then...
