hey guys,
I was wondering if it is possible to use, say Sprint firmware(3.56.651.0) on a Telus phone? My firmware is 3.54.661.1 and have no other updates on the Canadian site that i can see. Any help would be appreciated.

can you give me a link to what thread you are talking about or to the site that haswhat you are looking at.... if it is an outside link be sure to use the code brackets around it... (the code brackets comes from the spinning green wheel above and to the left of the youtube icon above where you type a reply in a thread.

Thanks for the help DASH,
I am unable to send the exact site because i haven't had enough posts a guess. I found them on the HTC site under support for the HTP P4000 for Telus and under Mogul for Sprint.
Sorry if i am causing so much problems, i guess i am better at saving lives then figuring out my phone!

hahahah no troubles alright so its a rom update at thats jsut the rom verison right there........ so basically if that is your provider than thats the newest that they have out.... if you go to start/settings/system/device information the firsdt line will tell you what rom you have.... if it is higher than the one you have yours is old....

i got to say i am a little worried about getting another ROM. I've checked out your posts and some others and i'm not that handy. I noticed you need a couple of other programs to make sure it works and need the unlock code from Telus. Holy crap my head is already spinning. You guys are great at what you do and may seam easy but some of us are old and not familiar with this technology stuff.....haha!!!

you dont need a code from telus.... you will be fine...... take a look at my signature below and follow the steps for your device and you will be golden.

when you say signature below do you mean on your name or at the bottom of the page somewhere? And if you may have convinced me, do you recommend any in particular.....besides orange!!!

i don't see any images or links. i dont know if its because i have windows 64 bit or not but i see no images. I dont even see the picture of the touch pro

you have to go to your user control panel on your account here....there u will see a setting to show signatures....make sure that is checked and you will see it.
