(Squeezer) Make your programs run 30% FASTER
 

this is an old trick that was/is used for older devices to fit WinMo 6 on them
but a side effect is faster application load times

i figured i'd try it on the Blackstone and difference is noticeable
HTCAlbum loads in about 1 Second, before it took about 4
so i'm sharing this with anyone who is interested

The batch file is kept as simple as possible for everyone's ease of use
but this is pretty advanced tweaking, so all common warnings apply
and/or
if you are not comfortable with getting files from/to your PocketPC
and/or
can't figure out how to extract this zip and read the "read me.txt"
and/or
don't know what “any key� http://forum.xda-developers.com/imag...lies/smile.gif is DO NOT TRY THIS!

HOW ITS DONE
i. Disclaimer

do not know what “any key� is DO NOT TRY THIS!
because I do not and can not provide any support for this!
ii. What it is
This is a simple batch file that automates UPX compression,
it will take all files from "1_Original" directory
1. copy them to "2_Backup"
2. then move them to "3_Compressed"
3. compress them with UPX compression at the highest setting
iii. How to use
1. just drop some exe files into the "1_Original" folder
(great test is HTCAlbum.exe or GoogleMaps.exe)
2. run the “run.bat⠀� file
3. copy the exe files from “3_CompressedÃƒÆ ’¢â‚¬ÂÂÂ� to where you found them
4. test the newly compressed Application
(Restore the exe file from "2_Backup" if the Application does not run or work well)
(Experiment! Report your results in the forum)

this isnt a cab, there are a few folders in there with a batch file.....its a lil work to do but well worth it in the long run.....
