HTC has made 80% of all Windows Mobile Phones

AppleInsider reported yesterday that HTC is responsible for 80% of the WinMo phones out there. 80%!

While playing up the fact that 50 phone makers around the world have licensed the companys Windows Mobile platform, Microsoft inadvertently let it slip out that a full 80% of all Windows Mobile phones ever made have actually come from a single maker: HTC.

HTC has by far the best looking windows mobile phones ive ever seen :) so it doesnt surprise me to know this :) thanks for the info D/\SH ;)

Thhats wonderful news, for microsoft especially... i think thats what help them maintin such a strong foothold in the mobile market, b/c (imo) the average user isnt really thinking about os in particular... more so about weather the phone suits their need, s lifesyle and general style,... so to me, It the interest in HTC products, that is keeping MS Os (wm) selling...
