Push to talk for Windows Mobile works on all screen resolutions

What is Loudtalks?

Loudtalks brings voice back to the internet communications. It's a little application, which allows you to talk to your friends or colleagues instantly with a single touch of a button. Think walkie talkie. It's faster than text chat and more convenient than calls. Loudtalks is available for Windows right now, but we are working hard to bring it to other platforms soon, including your mobile phone. Loudtalks is free and will always be free.

Changes:

- Fixes playback performance on Windows Mobile 2003
- Reduced memory footprint

Thats all folks but if you use WM2003 its pretty valuable so we decided to push this update ASAP.

General:

Updated Loudtalks protocol to reduce bandwidth requirements
Fixed not working “Beginning of conversation” sound alert
Added Polish localization generously contributed by Maciej Dmowski
Windows build:

Fixed crash on Vista, while dragging contacts
Removed “Noise suppression” and “Auto level” options from Audio options for now
Auto-away works even when in Busy mode
By default dont login when program starts
Windows Mobile build:

Added “Register account” function
Added “Add contact” function (to complete the authorization the contact has to add you too)
Added “Change password” function
Automatically attempt to connect to the internet at login
That is — you no longer have to use a PC to start using Loudtalks for Windows Mobile

I know this is stupid but I wanted to be sure before I made a mistake and installed...this is only for WM2003 and not for any higher WM platform right?

I have this installed on my Touch and my daughters Q. Works on both platforms (Touch & Non-Touch Screen) and works pretty well. I like that you can put away, busy, or some other status and the messages sent to your phone are saved, so that you make click on them to get the messages(this means you can be at work or in a meeting and not have to worry a message will shoot through all loud/you can check them after the fact). When you are available it sends through just as if walkie talkie. You can also install this program on your desktop and that person can communicate with with mobile programs. Nice FREE programs.

Sure, wifi is an internet connection, just like your phones DATA connection.

the part he figured out is that the first screen is a registration screen not a sign in screen. you need to register a username & stuff & then you sign in with those credentials.

soul032 please put more then you just figured it out.. thats not helping anyone else who might have the same question as you, but isn't as smart as you ;D
